We absolutely adored this hotel! The architecture of the buildings looks like it's right out of Moana! The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. I'm not sure why anyone traveling to Molokai would expect luxury. We wanted a peaceful experience and that's exactly what we got. The staff were friendly but not intrusive. I am very glad we got...

We felt that the room was expensive for what it was. The room was OK and reasonably clean. The restaurant had closed several days before our arrival and we were not even informed at check in. We were able to go into town for meals but had been looking forward to dinner at the hotel on the water. Had the...

Stayed in a room with one king and two twin beds. twin beds were in a loft that had about 4 foot head room. Basic room with kitchenette and one bathroom. Clean but no frills. Restaurant and bar closed so nearest food is two miles away. Hotel has a van to take you to restaurant but cost $5/pp each way....

The road sign spoke volumes. Slow down ...You are on Molokai! What a great week we had at the Hotel Molokai. The slower pace of the Friendly Isle as they call it was perfect for us and we found the staff and location of the hotel to be outstanding. This hotel exceeded expectations. The staff were outstanding and very friendly. John took us out to get hot bread. Dorine made our wives feel special. Beautiful music around the pool every night. We stayed at Hotel Molokai for 3 nights and were very happy with its friendliness, cleanliness and amenities. It's about 1.8 miles from Kaunakakais centre (which can be walked if you don't wish to drive - or haven't rented a car) and about a $35 taxi ride from Molokai Airport. The hotel has a small gift shop, laundry, atm, restaurant...
