I had the most incredible stay at Ke Iki Beach Bungalows in Oahu, and I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the peaceful and picturesque setting. The bungalows are nestled right on the edge of the beach, offering a level of privacy and serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere.

The accommodations were immaculate, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The interior was charming and cozy, decorated with a perfect mix of local island flair and modern amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved having the option to cook a few meals in and enjoy them on our private lanai, overlooking the stunning ocean.

But the real star of the show is the location. Ke Iki Beach is breathtaking—pristine white sand, clear blue water, and the sound of the waves crashing right outside our door. It’s a fantastic spot for a morning stroll or a dip in the water. The sunsets here are absolutely magical, and we found ourselves lingering outside every evening, watching the sky transform with hues of pink and orange.

The Manager Greg was also incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He offered great recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities. Greg truly understand hospitality and embodies the aloha spirit.

If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful, and authentic Hawaiian experience, Ke Iki Beach Bungalows is the place to stay. It's the perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and peace—definitely worth every star of this 5-star review! Can’t wait to return! 🌴🌊

From the moment we arrived at the bungalows, our expectations were exceeded. The property is immaculate and the view is like heaven! Having the pristine beach at your back door makes the bungalows a clear choice if you want to experience Oahu's North Shore. It's a perfect location, with plenty of food trucks serving local flavors and a grocery store 5 minutes away. There's a nice area for grilling and a full kitchen. We enjoyed the most amazing sunset view each evening right outside our bungalow. It felt like waking up in heaven every day and we miss it already and we just got home. Such a lovely, quiet, relaxing experience that allows you to connect with nature and the island.

Aloha Chris and Mahalo for your heavenly review. Happy to hear about your stay here. Many people take pictures of the sunset and put it on their screen saver on the computer or blow it up and hang above their desk or in the office at work. I can text you some good sunsets in the coming months to hold you over till your next visit..Take care.

Keiki Beach Bungalows are an excellent location for a stay on the North Shore. Adjacent to one of Hawaii’s most stunning beaches with it’s never ending show of water and sand. Whether one sits back on the Adirondack chairs lining the lanai, swings on one the hammocks, or lounges on the sand with a book every few minutes they will find themselves gazing out at the gorgeous view. The bungalows are well-equipped, especially the kitchens, making a perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Within walking distance of both Waimea Bay and the Banzai Pipeline aficionados of big wave surfing will find themselves in the thick of things. If walking in deep sand to either of these attractions is not enough exercise there is a yoga workout offered each morning. Despite the laid back ambiance the one issue (a dead battery in our security safe) was attended to promptly by the helpful manager Greg.

This is my second review of Ke Iki Beach Bungalows in 4 months as we stayed again in November after our stay in July. We stayed again because we enjoyed our July stay so much and I expect we shall be back again at some stage. This location provides a unique north shore experience being literally right on the beach. The accommodation is of a high standard with all the amenities, yet is still very laid back. The location is close to the important parts of the north shore (Foodlands, food trucks, sharks cove and surf breaks) and only a short drive from Haleiwa. Greg the host is extremely accommodating, but also leaves you to enjoy the place largely uninterrupted. This is a wonderful location.

I have been staying at Ke iki beach bungalows for 5 years. I look forward to coming each year. I love to stay in the Hibiscus room. I have brought my mom and my grown kids, It is the high light of our year and looking forward to it. 5 years ago I paid less then $250.00 per night for the same room, for the past 3 years since the new owner came in I pay $1000.00 per night, I am so embarrassed to tell any one I cant even believe I pay it. No 2 or 3 star hotel is worth that. I have traveled alot all over the world and I like and spend on very nice places, there are hotels with meals and foot massages and turn down service and they are not $1000.00 per night, I choose the sweet, Romantique and quaint places, and this one is on the north shore, notorious for its vibe and aloha, everyone that is staying here now is not carrying that vibe or aloha, it is getting a reputation as a ridiculous over priced and greedy new owner. shame on you new owners. You have priced us right out of staying here, as a owner of this hotel you should feel so much pride when you have the right sort of people staying at your hotel, you folks dont seem to care about that. This is our last year staying year, if you should change your pricing to around $350.00 per night is high, but reasonable for your location let me know I would love to come back.

Hi Mary. We are very sorry and sad to read your review. We are not ashamed but are actually very proud of the way we transformed this amazing place and the way our valued guests enjoy every stay and they express it by writing hundreds of 5 star reviews. The previous ownership purchased this property in 1952 for $11,000 and built the bungalows for another $25,000. They did not have multi million dollar mortgage and over the years made little investment to upkeep and the place literally was falling apart. Many millions were invested in the purchase and remodel. Our team members earn a living wage and we support the local community. We are not a hotel but a vacation rental. The Hibiscus Bungalow is not a hotel room but a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath with large living room and full kitchen with a semi private large outside deck that sits just above the sand on one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Hawaii. We are fully committed to giving value and sharing the aloha spirit to our guests and do agree with you that there is nothing like this on the North Shore of Oahu. We are sad that this will be your last stay with us. Next time please try Turtle Bay Resort. Hope you had safe travels back to Maine. Aloha

Stunning location right on the beach, really nicely fitted out bungalows that have plenty of space for a family of four in a two bed option. There are comfy beds (and the sound of surf to lull you to sleep), a great kitchen and Weber bbq, the outside space is simply fantastic with day beds, hammocks and dining table. Helpful for our long trip across many places we liked the laundry facilities too. Very friendly and helpful hosts - thank you Greg for a wonderful stay!

This beachfront bungalow is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The bungalow is situated right on the beach, and the panoramic ocean views are truly unbeatable. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sound of waves, and the evenings were spent enjoying the sunset from the lanai.

The bungalow itself was thoughtfully designed with a perfect balance of coastal charm and modern luxury. The interior was clean, bright, and spacious, with plenty of natural light.
The private lanai was furnished with cozy seating and loungers, perfect for morning coffee. We also appreciated the easy beach access and being only a few steps from the bungalow and we were on the sand. The hosts even provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, which made our beach days even more convenient.

The location is unbeatable: secluded enough for a peaceful retreat, yet close to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They provided great local recommendations and were always quick to respond to any questions.

All in all, this beachfront bungalow is the epitome of a dream vacation. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family holiday, this place has it all. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable beach escape!

I took a week off to visit the North Shore and stayed at Ke Iki Beach Bungalows - exactly the vacation place I was hoping for. The owners were friendly and welcoming, the location was quiet and right on the beach, perfect for watching sunsets. I had a studio efficiency surrounded by a variety of trees, flowers and plants with a fully setup kitchen, comfy bed and small living room with a coffee table and sofa plus shower and bathroom. At night you can see the stars and in the morning the local rooster will wake you up to start your day. I was around seven minutes driving from Waimea Valley, about 30-45 minutes from Kualoa Ranch, 15 minutes from all the shops and restaurants in Haleiwa. It is about an hour and ten minutes from Honolulu, an hour and a half from Waikiki. They offered free yoga in the morning and each bungalow has a wonderful book filled with local providers you can reach out to for a variety of excursions and services ranging from Lomi lomi massages to kayaking trips and local surf schools. If you enjoy a quiet stay in a beautiful location away from commercial, touristy locations this is definitely a good choice and my new favorite place!

Bungalow was perfect for our purpose…After a day of enjoying the sights and sounds of the North Shore, we, a family of 16 needed somewhere to clean up before attending a luau… Greg, the owner/manager met us as we arrived and accommodated us by bringing more than enough towels and washcloths for everyone …The bungalow had two bedrooms that served as changing stations for the 16 of us—just perfect! Everyone was able to shower and refresh.., Greg was GREAT!!!

My husband and I traveled to meet our son and stay together in the Protea bungalow for three nights. The accommodations were fresh, clean, and welcoming. Everything we needed was there, including beach towels, shampoo, body wash, lotion, and a kitchen. The deck provided a great place to eat our meals. The property was well kept and landscaped beautifully with lawn chairs and hammocks throughout for relaxation outside. The bedroom is close to the highway, so keeping the windows closed at night helped us get a good night's sleep. The local grocery store and food trucks were within walking distance (good food!). The short walk across the property to the beach was easy and beautiful. Next time I will definitely take part in the morning yoga sessions provided to the guests! Having direct access to the beautiful beach was the highlight for us. We spent most of our time in the provided beach chairs, taking in the waves (and one afternoon, watching whales breaching off shore). We were looking for an authentic Hawaii experience where we felt like one of the locals. This exceeded our wishes. Thank you Greg, Annie, and Reese! We hope to be back soon!
