My sister and I stayed at this bed and breakfast February 12-18 in in 2014. The place was a little old fashioned and antiquated. The host was kind and helpful and attended to our needs as best he could. The room and bathroom was crowded with nick-nacs, toys, collectors items and posters. That was interesting but a little crowded. There was...

I stayed with Don and De 1/24-1/27/14 and was welcomed and treated as a member of their family. The Victorian room (with its own bathroom and large closet) was perfect for me. It did not feel cluttered and was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts consisted of yummy banana bread that Don bakes, toast, cereal, and fresh...

Donald is a fantastic host with his 92 year old partner De who is an accomplished talented artist. Both have lived exciting lives and we enjoyed discussions and admired the paintings. Location is suburban, easy to get to, with parking. Noisy though at times from helicopters and neighbours' cars. Interior is like an antique shop with every wall covered in...

Thank you for your compliments on our hospitality and art collections. Yes, our home has many things - paintings from 19th century to WPA to contemporary- Antique furniture from a 200 year old Grandfather clock to beautiful Persian carpets. Too many things? That is what we like and when you stay in a B&B HOME you have to remember that...

We loved our stay at Ali'i Bluffs! We stayed in the Victorian room, it is just like a little museum where you find funny & beautifull decoration. Donald & De are really great, they made us feel at home right away & told us stories about the history of Hawaii, places to fo, etc. Breakfast is also very nice with...

We had an excellent time staying with Don and De (and Hamish!) over Halloween this year. We tend to use B&Bs/Hotels as a base and spend most of our time "out and about" but they made us all very welcome with friendly conversation and attentive service over breakfast and always lots of advice, maps etc to help us with our...

Dom was the perfect host, lovely to meet a fellow Scot, he couldn't do enough for us and was full of advice (and maps! ) to help us on our travels. De is a spectacular artist with...

This B&B is conveniently located with 2 rooms and associated baths. Don & D were very accommodating and always ready with helpful advice about our planned excursions, or with erudite conversation at the end of each day. When we needed to rise early for a full day at Pearl Harbor (an easy 30 minute drive) Don, without being asked, moved...

First of all, we'd like to endorse all the positive comments made by previous reviewers. Fortunately for us, we were the only people stopping there during our five-night stay, which meant we felt more like family members than paying guests. It took no time at all for us to feel completely at home. Don & De are generous hosts and...
