What a gorgeous well thought out resort! From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds until the time we left everything was beautiful. The staff is so welcoming and friendly and accommodating it made our short 3 day stay wanting for more. The views...More
My wife and I stayed here for four days in the beginning of April before taking a cruise around the islands. It was not terribly crowded. But yes, as in other reviews, the pool chairs are an issue. I suggest getting in line for a...More
We stayed at the resort the week before Easter, but in reading reviews just before our trip I found that it's pretty crowded all the time - not just the time frame we visited. They have way too many people for the number of pool...More
We rented a 2 room villa for an extended family vacation. The room was nice, the comfort was good; no complaints. The resort itself was just okay though. We paid over $1200 per night for our villa, and I thought the resort just didn't do...More

A standard room will accommodate 4 guests. Having stayed at similar Disney properties (Orlando), I think it would be quite tight for 4 guests let alone 5. My understanding is that cribs are available for infants but not cots. Disney properties usually provide beds, convertible sofas and chairs for teens and adults. Your best bet is to check out the accommodation configurations on Aulani's web site. Sorry but TripAdvisor won't let me post a link. Search for Aulani Standard Room and you should get a direct link to the room description.
We just had a similar situation. We were able to accommodate this request by adding them to our room reservation. Disney will add guests to the room reservation up to the limit of the maximum room occupancy.
