The lodge is away enough from the heavy traffic area so it a quiet place. The view from the room was spectacular. The staff was pleasant enough and the accomodation comfortable. If you come to visit Bar Harbor or Acadian Park, it is a nice place to stay at. I would not hesitate coming back.

Thank you for choosing The Eyrie for your stay in June. We are very happy that you enjoyed your visit and that you also would recommend our hotel to potential guests. Hopefully you were able to take some time and explore our beautiful island. Right now, things are starting to slow down, the foliage is lovely and the town is...

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable night and morning at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge in mid September. This motel is located some distance from the shore. But it is on a hillside, and our second-floor room had a spectacular view, once the early morning fog lifted, of the bay. Our room was clean, quiet, and large; the shower...

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I'm sorry you only had time for one night but obviously took a good look around. We will pass on the message to Steve that you liked his service and breakfast offerings. We will also let the front desk staff know that you appreciated their hospitality. Perhaps you will...

We stayed here recently and were pleasantly surprised by this Lodge. You never know about a place that you book online and Trip Advisor helped with that. They have a helpful staff and the rooms are great. They are expansive and ours had a great view of the Ocean. They have a free breakfast that doesn't change from day-to-day but...

Hello, Thank you for the nice review. You are absolutely right, our wifi is less than perfect. We have been working on it and will hopefully have something in place by next season that is a lot better. Our building structure is such that signals are less than ideal no matter how many repeaters, etc. are in place. We are...

Perfect Perfect! We 4 adults agreed that this was a perfect place to stay. The grounds were beautiful, complete with a a doe and fawn that munched on the lawn while we enjoyed cocktail hour on our deck. The views were incredible, the beds were great, pillows comfortable, frig, micro, all the features were top notch and the price reasonable for...

Wow! Such a positive review. We wish you had stayed longer as well. It is always rewarding to have guests that enjoy their stay and then take the time to comment specifically on what they like about our hotel. We do read each review and we also compliment the staff who is responsible for making your stay an enjoyable one....

This was our second year to stay here and it is the best location. Our son was married in the park at Monument Cove a week ago, so the whole family stayed here and everybody loved it. Very spacious rooms and very clean. You could walk to town which is only a mile or take the free shuttle. We stayed...

Congratulations on the marriage in your family! What a great area to be married in. We will let Steve know that you complimented him on his breakfast service. We feel very lucky to have him here. Glad you had a great trip and thank you for the review and we will see you next year! Have a great winter. ~Joanne

We choose this property based on several parameters. First and foremost is it's location. This is the highest lodging in Bar Harbor, so all rooms have a great view of Frenchman Bay. They’re East facing, perfect for sunrises on your balcony. Set those alarms! Second is the free continental breakfast in the bright and sunny eating area. Third and most...

Detailed responses like yours are so helpful for not just potential guests but also for those of us that work at the "Eyrie" We are very proud of the improvements we have been making gradually over the last few years. The breakfast room is one of those improvements that we love. And your comment on the parking is greatly appreciated...

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia. The location is amazing. Just five minutes from the park and five minutes from Bar Harbor. The rooms were immaculately clean and the continental breakfast was very nice. Our room wasn't ocean side, so I can't speak for the view, but if you are looking for a nice...

Thank you very much for the nice review. It's always nice to read positive comments especially from a guest who sounds very happy despite not being in an ocean view room. Interestingly enough, this time of year the non ocean view rooms have an incredible view of the autumn foliage. Hope to see you again and I personally love the...
