The views were amazing but the rooms were dated. I guess they were replacing the carpet on the outside walkways but the carpet was ripped out in several places & it looked tacky & unfinished. The stairs were concrete & were broken. On the bright side, the staff was very nice & the buses to & from town were handy.

Hello, Thank you for taking time to post a review. We are, as you noted in the process of updating walkway areas. We have over the past several years updated and improved major areas of the hotel from the pool to the parking lot. We are continuing to improve in the offseason. Thank you for complimenting our staff, I'll pass...

With so many expensive options near Bar Harbor, we were pleased to find this reasonable hotel. The facility is in great condition, the rooms were clean, and the view was definitely beautiful. Rooms are entered from exterior doors which we don't typically like, but this place felt more like a resort than a motel. Most rooms have balconies facing the...

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I will definitely pass on your concern regarding the complimentary breakfast selection to our manager. We are happy you enjoyed the room and the view. Hope you had fun exploring the island's many offerings. Enjoy your fall! -Joanne

Wonderful Hotel! Clean. Comfortable Rooms. Great views. Friendly staff. Convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The shuttle makes frequent stops at the hotel to take guests into Bar Harbor - much easier than trying to park in town. We would definitely stay here again!

We only use pretty friendly places and this is one I can highly recommend. Fantastic views and an awesome pool, but best of all is we can bring the puppies. Friendly staff, big room, very conveniently located with a shuttle to town or a very short drive into Acadia park. We skip the carb breakfast that's included in favor of...

Hello, Thank you very much for your review. Glad you enjoyed your visit here. I'm always so happy when canine families enjoy their stay. I wish I had the time to visit with every dog here! (and humans!) Hope you enjoy your autumn and again, thank you for the positive review!

Excellent views, even on the first floor. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Large clean room. Very near Acadia National Park. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but they are pet-friendly, with a reasonable charge of $35.00 for a pet. At the height of the tourist season, the rates are a great value. The shuttle down to Bar Harbor...

Good morning, Thank you for posting an informative review. We really appreciate the compliments and I'll pass them on to the manager to tell the appropriate staff. You are correct, early morning is the easiest time to get around in the summer months! I'd like to pretend I like to get up early but I do not! However, sunset on...

Our room at the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge was the whole width of the building so you enter from the outside on one side of the building and we had a balcony with a view on the other side of the building. We really appreciated the large room and the view. There is a frequent shuttle to downtown Bar Harbor. The...

Good morning from Maine, Thank you for mentioning our rooms and view. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Great suggestion to park and take the shuttle, so much easier. Finding parking in town during the summer is a nightmare as a rule as you obviously found out, we are so lucky to have the Island Explorer transportation. Take care and hope...

This is a lovely motel. They even have a complementary breakfast for you. The rooms have a fabulous view. There is a swimming pool, lovely grounds and very clean rooms. This motel is centrally located, it is near downtown Bar Harbor. Acadia National Park is close by. There is a bus that will take you downtown so you can leave your...

We stayed in the one bedroom suite on the 4th floor. It is very spacious with a full kitchen that is well stocked. It has two balconies - off the bedroom and living area with AMAZING views. There is plenty of floor space for a roll-away or air mattress plus the pull out sofa. It was very windy while we...

Good morning, Thank you for posting your review. Really sorry about the washer, it was the first time in a very long time that we had to use a guest washer due to some linen room shortages. We were back up and running soon and the guest washers are now both open for guests. As the pool can be a...

Great view, clean, the staff was friendly. The kids had a great time. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was ok but free. Only complaint there wasn't a fan in the bathroom. Free buss to town was great. Also pet friendly which is great. Great prices and would return again.

Hello, Thank you for the great review. Much appreciated. Glad your family enjoyed the hotel. Hope you all had a chance to explore Acadia as well as the other towns on the island. Thank you for mentioning that our prices are reasonable, which as you perhaps found, isn't the case in a lot of the Bar Harbor accommodations! Hope you...

Stayed here for two nights with a little one and a dog. Very accommodating. Our room was clean and the view even from the ground floor was great. Not overly fancy but has everything you need.
