As people have mentioned, this motel has been upgraded recently. It is a motel, not a B&B, just to be clear - but it is a very nice motel. Rooms are a little on the small side but have everything you need. No fridge in the room but there is a shared fridge in the pantry area where they even...

We really enjoyed our stay here while visiting Bar Harbor. Clean, updated, and comfortable. The motel has a very friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location...very quiet and an easy walk to town. Within minutes of Acadia National Park. We'll be back!

As others have said, the motel was recently bought by the owner of the Primrose Inn and completely remodeled. So you get a nice, clean, comfortable room. The bed was comfy, there was a nice little sitting area, the mini refrigerator in the room (if you book a king room) was spacious and even had a real freezer, which was...

We love B & B's so we clicked on Primrose Inn. Somehow we got booked in to Primrose Place which is owned by the same proprietor. We didn't discover this until we arrived and were given suggestions of where to go for breakfast! Upon visiting the Inn the next morning we saw that their guests were being served a sumptuous...

We had stayed at the Aurora Inn several times in the past and were pleased to see it done over and modernized, sort of... Things you should know: No room phones or refrigerators; basic accommodations; not fancy or deluxe; nice new bathroom and big screen cable TV; mattress too soft and pillows too firm, but that's a matter of taste;...

Primrose Place was a great place for us to stay as a couple in Bar Harbor. Parking right outside the door, clean room, easy walk to the restaurants and shops in the Village, and easy to get to Acadia. The staff at the Inn were very nice during check-in and out, otherwise no interaction. It was a really great and...

Newly renovated, very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect location, quiet rooms. Free coffee, refrigerator in room. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised, don't get it confused with the primrose inn next door, no breakfast included, would of liked the option but its location makes it very easy to walk to all the popular places. Won't disappoint

We decided to embark on a quick trip to Bar Harbor in mid August. Trying to find a hotel room, in peak season, on short notice, was not easy. It was our good fortune to find Primrose Place. It is a newly renovated addition to the the Primrose Inn across the street. While not a bed and breakfast we found...

We didn't get a room at the inn but we got a great modern, simple and fresh room at the sister/extension of the inn. Great location, right at the edge of town but super close and avoided the noise and crowded center. My only dissapointment was breakfast. I had the expectation as you physically picked up keys, talk to people...
