Cleftstone is a beautiful place located very conveniently in Bar Harbor. The rooms are comfortable and well set up. The breakfast is delicious. Anne is happy to help with recommendations for travel and food. Great place to visit!

This is a lovely, large, older house that has a variety of rooms. You can call the owners after looking at the web site to get more information to make sure the room chosen meets your need. Due to demand, we stayed a few nights in a smaller room and the last 2 days in the largest. The small room...

We were there a while ago and I forgot to post this but the review is the same. We still tell people about the Manor and recommend it if they are headed to Bar Harbor. We insist they check it out first. We spent our time in the Cleftstone room, the most amazingly beautiful and comfortable room that was perfect...

This is a reasonably priced B&B near Acadia (still somewhat pricey as is to be expected during the high season). Breakfast is excellent and prepares you for the Acadia day ahead. I would probably chose a B&B in town however if prices are competitive. Never met the innkeepers as far as I know as we arrived after hours on the...

Wonderful, quaint, and warming B and B in a perfect location! We loved our room and enjoyed the little chocolates replenished daily. The breakfasts were unique and offered good choices for anyone's taste. Pumpkin waffles and Wild Maine Blueberry pancakes. House made yogurt and fresh bakery breads prior to your main course tasty as well. Appetizers in the evening were...

Wonderful hosts. Gorgeous house. Close enough to walk downtown Bar Harbor. Loved the room with the fireplace especially after hiking at Acadia. Extras included indoor and outdoor swimming pools for afternoon relaxation. The breakfast is gourmet.

What a great time. Good hearty breakfasts each day got us ready for the hiking and biking we did. And Ann helped us out with some trail maps on the day we biked. We walked into town most days for lunch or dinner and took the shuttle bus back at night, which dropped us off right across the road from...

Thanks to owne/innkeper r Ann and her team of great assistants , my sisters and I again thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Cleftstone Manor. The inn is lovely, with numerous rooms to choose from (most with private bathrooms) and public rooms that are inviting and comfy. The decor tends towards colonial (think heavy wood and patterned wallpaper), and the...

My wife and I just spend our 30th anniversary at Cleftstone Manor. We were only there 1 night. The owner greeted us personally and walked us up to our room, providing details about the bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was on the small side, but adequate for the two of us. The TV was quite small, but...

Cleftstone Manor is a wonderful relic of a bygone era that has been updated inside to a high level of comfort. Don't be discouraged by the slightly peeling paint on the outside; on the inside, everything is immaculately restored. The innkeeper, Anne, has great knowledge about the inn itself and the history of Bar Harbor, and we enjoyed a good...
