It was ok for a few days and the location was great. But the room needs some updating. My daughters slept on the pull out coach and there were springs/bars in there back all night. Very uncomfortable sleeping arrangements. For the price, there are better options. They allow dogs which was the selling point for us but we'll look around...

The staff and owner of Quimby House Inn were friendly and accommodating. It is much like a B & B without the breakfast which we appreciated, as our goal was to come and go as desired without time restraints. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept very well. Location was perfect for our needs. The cost of our stay...

This is a good place to stay. It's billed as a B&B, but it's really just a B as they don't serve breakfast. That said, it is a bargain in an expensive town, and is a comfortable walk to downtown and all of the activities. Parking is a pain in Bar Harbor, but this motel has a decent amount of...

Lets be honest - every inn, motel and B&B in Bar Harbor is pretty cute. Some are more vintage than others, with varying levels of upkeep. Our room here 119 was ground level which made getting in and out easy with the kids and luggage. Internet was fast, room was clean and cool. There were a couple of cosmetic misses...

The location was good. The price was fair for the size of the room. The A/C was weak for size of room. The decor is ready to be updated. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The WiFi is super weak if that is a need of yours.

The Quimby House Inn is first and foremost clean and comfortable! You can eat off the floor. It's walking distance to Bar Harbor. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced, convenient distance to all attractions. Awesome place to stay!

This hotel was ok at best. Note that there is NO elevator and you have to carry your own luggage up steep, narrow stairs. Parking, however, was good. Location was good. Overpriced for amenities. Staff was not at all welcoming or helpful. They said there would be coffee in the morning....good luck with that ! It depends on whether the...

We have been turned off by big chain Hotels and usually stay in B&B's, or smaller Hotels. After researching on Trip Advisor, The Quimby House fit our needs. We were fortunate and our room was located downstairs at the rear of the hotel and away from the street so it was nice and quite. The room was adequate and clean...

Absolutely loved staying here! We were close to everything, walking distance from the harbor and shops and loved the staff. Everyone was very helpful, it was very clean and the room was great! What a great stay!

Pluses are the rate as well as the location. You can easily walk anywhere downtown or access Acadia pretty easily whether by car or bicycle. Yes it is a bit dated, but if you want the modern furnishings and creature comforts choose another place and pay double. Our room for our recent visit had a very comfortable king mattress and...
