Our stay at the Acadia Hotel was nothing short of perfect!! My wife, toddler daughter, and I stayed in the Cadillac Mountain Suite and though we were there for the town and the National Park, our lodging became part of the vacation. Fork over a little extra $$ for this suite; it is so worth it!! There's a fireplace and...

We stayed three nights at the Acadia hotel and we would highly recommend this hotel. It was a perfect location to experience beautiful Bar Harbor and a great starting point for visiting Acadia national park. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and really walked the extra mile to give us superb service. The rooms were clean and very...

Hi Anders, Thank you for your review; we appreciate hearing from our guests about their stay and what features of our hotel they enjoyed. I'm so glad you took advantage of our free bikes we offer. Biking through Acadia is a great way to explore and see the beautiful scenery the park is known for. Hopefully you were able to...

We stayed at the Acadia Hotel for 2 nights. Ours was the "small" room and, yes, it was very small! But we didn't mind. This is a hotel, not a b&b, although it looks like a b&b on the outside. The Acadia Hotel is close to everything in Bar Harbor. We did not get back into the car until we...

The hospitality, generosity and great care of the Acadia Hotel is second to none! Location amazing! We stayed in the sweet with our family of 6. The kids couldn't get enough of the lemonade on the front porch, the hot tub, Danishes, and of course "paws" the stuffed black bear my 4 year old fell in love with. Great recommendations...

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. The location was phenomenal, as we were right in the heart of Bar Harbor. The waterfront itself is about a 10 minute walk away, but there are many restaurants/shops that are just a block away. We asked Peter what the best way to explore Acadia for the day was, and he...

Had a great couple of nights in Bar Harbor at a cute room with a private entrance at the Acadia Hotel. (This is one of the budget rooms, I believe). I picked the room because it was dog friendly and within my budget, and it was a perfect base for my husband, dog, and me while we explored the town...

This is the place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor, most friendly, caring, informative staff. Hotel with ammendites aplenty, from fresh lemonade at the door to large hot tub and bikes for guests. You can feel the history in the building and wonderful art work. This is a "do not miss".....Enjoy

We stayed in the Cadillac Mountain Suite with our two year old daughter. It was perfect because we could put her in the other room for bedtime. There are skylights so if your child is sensitive to light with sleeping, this might be an issue. Ours had a little trouble the first day, but no problems after that. They provided...

We have now stayed here 5 times since Peter took over the Acadia. He has the good fortune of a great location but he also provides an excellent value. The rooms are always spotless, the service is always flawless and the room is always in good condition. With every visit improvements are added. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and we had a great time here. The check-in was extremely smooth and the room was very nicely-decorated and clean. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown (in front of the green village) and all the shops and restaurants are right outside of the hotel. Great location for those who...
