Amazing coast of Maine experience!! Kind, friendly, and knowledgable staff. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and cozy room provided the perfect winter weekend get away. The staff made great suggestions for restaurants and day activities for a fabulous winter Bar Harbor experience. The Acadia Hotel is the perfect place for a restorative and relaxing stay. We are excited to return!

I stayed in Room 6 which had a lovely view of the town/Village Green. The room was spotless and comfortable. I LOVED the little shelf just outside the door in the hallway, so that you can put your drink or whatever down while you got your key out to unlock the door - it's sometimes the little touches that make...

We visited this lovely hotel before the summer season kicked in and really enjoyed our two-night stay. Acadia Hotel is cozy and creatively arranged, and the staff is personable and helpful. LOCATION: Smack downtown, with parking in front. Walk to restaurants and shops. ROOM: We had a Standard King in the front of the house with a shared balcony overlooking...

Just got back from a three night stay here over NYE and really enjoyed it. We arrived very late the first night and the staff had gone out of their way to leave everything at the front desk for us to be able to get into our room and then check in the following morning. The staff was also very...

Quick overnight to Bar Harbor in the off season. Great old school hotel, very short walk to downtown and harbor. Nicely decorated, excellent beds and bath. Two rooms with king size beds living/dining room and bath. Porch, hot tub and bikes available for guests. Great spot at a great off season price, open year round.

This is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor: best location, best value, and best host! This hotel sits across the village green and is in perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. My room was immaculate and peaceful even though the hotel was totally booked. The total cost of my room for the weekend was comparable...

This was our second stay and the only reason we cross from our mainly Canadian road trip. This time we took the last room with was in near the front of the hotel and smaller that one we've had before but still had everything you could need. The bathroom was a little tight but not a major problem. Great to...

This is a grand house which has been extended and converted into a hotel which imposes some minor limitations on their facilities. The hotel is ideally located close to the main shopping street and many restaurants, bars and other attractions. The staff are very helpful and keen to make suggestions for things to do and places to eat. There is...

We stayed here 2 nights - found the location provided great walking distance to all downtown shopping and eateries. Hotel was extremely helpful in giving suggestions for dining and went over and above what you get most places as far as 'what can we do for you' attitude. Room was very nice and loved sitting on the porch and visiting...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, primarily due to its location to the shops and restaurants, which did not disappoint. The room was clean and traditional, but basic; be prepared to live out of your suitcase since no closet or dresser storage was available. The outside porches were wonderful for unwinding, plus heated. When we checked in, we were...
