The Primrose Inn in Bar Harbor, ME, is stunning. It's beautifully restored 1876 (about) home. It feels like home and the hosts treat you like family. Everyone is very friendly. The breakfasts are varied and excellent. Nice amenities like a wine cooler and mini-fridge with sodas, etc.Rooms have DVD player/TV and a lot of DVD's to borrow. It's immaculately clean,...

Not really prim and proper stuffy. If you're in Bar Harbor Maine, don't dare miss staying at this beautiful B&B. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and ours had its own sitting area. The 4 o'clock tea will make you think you're in England. This place is gorgeous, immaculate, but filled with old world charm without being tacky. The breakfast is...

From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you will have everything your heart desires and things you couldn't even imagine wanting at your finger tips at this amazing inn. The women who welcome you are amazing hosts and even better bakers (they make the scrumptious cookies and desserts offered during daily tea). The amenities are better...

We stayed for three nights at this lovely Inn and could have stayed for a lot longer. We were met with welcoming cakes and lemonade which set the standard for our whole stay. There were delicious breakfasts, chilled drinks in the fridge, pots of lip salve, postcards ready stamped, more books on the area than a Tourist Information bureau, top...

This inn is beautiful. From the entry to the dining room, to our guest room. All impeccably done and clean. The location is handy for walking around and the town is safe and most walking is flat surfaced. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Don't miss this lovely inn.

We spent a wonderful three nights at Primrose Inn conveniently located within walking distance to the best restaurants and downtown. Complimentary parking is provided for guests. Our room was perfect, decorated in blond cottage style furniture with enough storage to move in permanently! I loved our room, it almost felt like home, this is very important when you are on...

For my birthday my husband decided to return to our first love with Maine--Bar Harbor. We had read the reviews here on Trip Advisor and liked the recommendations of this Inn....It met our expectations... I loved the welcoming and informative chat with Melissa's mother! She was helpful and provided us with a guided CD to do the Acadia National Park...
