Spent a Friday evening in this awesome hotel in downtown San Francisco. The rooms are simply designed yet details are terrific: crisp whites, faux leather details, urban recycled elegance. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms spacious and well stocked. I loved the open space bar/play/reception area: it was welcoming and really nicely thought through. Play loft was great:...

J B, Sounds like you really got a nice feel for our hotel! As you mentioned in your comments our rooms are cleverly designed to be modern, chic and comfortable. On top of the rooms our Playroom and bar offer drinks and games. And if you feel like being healthy we have a 24 hour gym which has cardio machines...

Had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Zetta for three nights. We were welcomed by the charming and vivacious Rosemary at reception, who registered and gave us information about the hotel and some of the nearby attractions. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Wonderful bed, which was great to stretch out after a 13 hour flight. Room has all...

Dwaynejm, Wow, what a great review! Rosemary does a great job for your guests...especially after a coffee from Blue Bottle. I can certainly understand the feeling of being able to relax after a 13 hour flight, nothing is better than getting to your hotel and chilling out. We always aim to help our guests out with this and an early...

Awesome hotel in the city centre, close to all the attractions and different districts, close to shopping, cafes and restaurants. Room: Double Deluxe Queen Room, great size room with good size bathroom, it was my birthday so some freebies on the room upon arrival was just awesome! Hotel: Downstairs and mezzanine level has an awesome bar with lounges to relax...

Pros: beautiful design, very friendly staff, spacious rooms, got some welcome gifts upon late arrival which is always pleasant, got a room upgrade for free Bad: nothing, rooms are maybe a bit dark when at the back, and prices are high, but that's SF!

Not expecting much outside the reviews on this site and others, we really didn't know what to expect. Sure the reviews are great and sure, the pictures look cool, but what's the real deal, you know? Well let me tell you. The reviews and the pictures couldn't have been more spot on with the Hotel Zetta. The location is awesome...

j_to_the_l_o, Wow thank you for the kind words! Also thank you for having faith in all of the other great Tripadvisor reviews you have read about our wonderful property. As you mention our location is fantastic, but we feature so much more! I am particularly happy to hear that you did #takethestairs! More of our guests should check those out....

On arrival we have been welcomed by the parking service guys that were very kind and helpful with both luggage and the car parking. There is valet parking for $ 58 per night which is a lot but it's really in the centre of the city. The lobby appears quite unconventional, modern style with a nice bar. The staff is...

GWHAM, It's always great to hear our door guys get some love on Tripadvisor. They are the first impression when guests arrive and often times the last when they leave. Parking in downtown San Francisco quite a challenge, our valet offers a 24 hour in and our service to put you at ease and not have to worry. Also it's...

Excellent location close to most things and if not then close to transport options to get you there. Walkable to Union Sq, the ferry building with the Bart station nearby and the Powell/Hyde St cable car a stagger away to get you to near Fishermans Wharf. You can't beat it. Also close to the Caltrain to get you out to...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
