The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was in walking distance to attractions such as China Town, tour bus stops to get to Fisherman's Wharf and good restaurants.

Near everythin in the city, rooms are little but good! Everything is around this hotel. You can hire a bike in the mason street or you can take the metro. Walking is an option. Hotel can be better to include breakfast!

We loved staying here. The art work is worth looking at, comfortable room in a great location. The complimentary wine in the library lounge each evening was an unexpected bonus that created a lively hum. Friendly staff.

I was here recently for a few days. The location is nice, right by bus stops and cable car stops. The hotel offers a complimentary glass of wine between 5pm-6pm. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions about getting around or wanting to find different foods to try. The room was on the smaller side and seemed...

The room was charming, the location was easy to find. Convenient stores and restaurants all located on the same block. Check in was fast and welcoming. The staff was helpful in their suggestions for a midnight snack.

This Hotel is exactly where you want to be in San Francisco. A very pretty and friendly Hotel with the charms of yesterday. We absolutely loved it. We enjoyed the bar area and also the food in the bar restaurant. However if I should ever stay again I would like a room at the front of the Hotel as I...

First trip to San Francisco! I read some good reviews on this hotel and we got a great price on Expedia so booked 3 nights. I always prefer boutique hotels over chains and this didn't disappoint. Great location and the rooms were decent. They are small and the TV was on a side wall rather than end of the bed...

Charming, quirky boutique hotel a couple of blocks from Union Square. Friendly staff upon check-in in spite of no record of my reservation. I was offered a room on either the 4th or 7th floor and was informed that the 7th floor had no A/C. The room was of average size, nice view thru fire escape railings, but the shower...

The location is prime if you plan on staying in the city. However, be prepared to walk. You're not getting anywhere if you don't take the walk. Most everything you want to see is close enough to walk to or you can take the Bart. Only issues we had with this hotel is the price of valet. It was nearly...

European style hotel, central location, friendly staff. Room was on the small side overlooking the back side of another building but the super comfortable beds made up for no view. Complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby in the mornings is nice - the coffee is great. Shower pressure is on the weak side but that's because it's an older building. Bathrobes...
