Champagne Breakfast, wonderful suite, great location. The staff was so wonderful. We hated to leave the room. The wine and cheese was delicious at happy hour. The common area and our room was decorated in some beautiful antiques. We stayed in a tower suite so we had nice bay windows.

I have stayed at the Chateau Tivoli before and I'm so glad my husband and I got to stay there again for a whole week. We were in the Montez suite then changed to Twain. Both felt like it was living in our own apartment especially Montez with it's separate and private entrance. The staff were great. Hands on when...

We stayed in the two basement suites - Lola Montez and Lily Langtry. The suites were beautifully decorated, clean and very spacious. The building itself is amazing and if you are looking for a boutique hotel that is also quirky and in an excellent location then look no further. Close to excellent bus links and within easy walking distance of...

We had a marvelous stay at the Chateau Tivoli Bed & Breakfast. We were in the basement suite, which has two bedrooms, one bath and a private entrance. It was quiet and perfect for the three adults visiting the city for five nights. The hosts couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and transportation (very easy...

We stayed here 1/20-22 aand had a great time. It's in an amazing building, restored so beautifully and in a great location. David, the innkeeper was super nice and helpful. Our room, the Isadora Duncan, was stunning, large, and beautifullly detailed, the private bathroom was right across the hall, so very convenient. There is a large living room downstairs that...

I've been staying at the Chateau Tivoli for 12 years. As a music and movie lover I find it perfectly situated to easily get to multiple venues and theaters. With no two night minimum like many BnBs I generally come in just for the night of a show. It's just blocks from the Independent and the historic Fillmore auditorium. A...

Whilst researching where to stay in SF, we were shocked by the hotel prices....so through recommendations we were thrilled to 'find' Chateau Tivoli. It is a delight- Arts & Craft style and beautifully renovated over the years. My main problem generally with B&B is that I don't want to sit in my room sipping wine (or whatever) & nibbling crisps....

Hubby and I enjoyed staying here; we were comfortable and well looked-after. It was good to chat with visitors from the USA, Germany, France and others - interesting discussions! The building has been lovingly restored/decorated, and holds some fascinating objects and art. We found our way around SF easily by bus, which goes form around the corner from Chateau Tivoli.

Have just stayed here for 3 nights - a very different place to stay, our room was spacious but quite dark as befits this style of property. We had a very warm welcome arriving early - we left our luggage and on our return it had been taken up to our room. The afternoon wine and cheese was really nice...

What a lovely surprise Tivoli is. So much character and each room is uniquely gorgeous. The team, Bridget, Nico and Janet are amazing hosts and super accommodating. The evening wine and cheese events are a super relaxing way to end the day.
