I had a absolute perfect stay at The Inn San Francisco. At arrival i was way too early, but they let me get the keys and kept my luggage and later brought it to my room while i was out. The staff was very helpfull in every possible way and an example of how to conduct flawless service. The room...

Trust the TripAdvisor reviews, this place is wonderful! Easy to find if you follow the instructions and a very warm welcome awaits. First impression was WOW, so was second and third. We had booked a room with shared bathroom (shared with one other room only) which wasn't a problem at all, helped by the handy fluffy bathrobes provided in the...

From the moment we set foot at the Inn San Francisco, we felt well taken care of!!! They were so incredibly warm and welcoming. We had arrived a few hours before our check in time and just assumed we would park on the street and walk around the area for a bit. However, the staff welcomed us to bring our...

Liza and Evelyn at the front desk had great suggestions for things to do with my granddaughter. They were so sweet and lovely to her too when she visited. My room was beautiful and comfortable, with every convenience blended into the beautiful Victorian decor. No elevator, but my bag was taken to my room up three flights of stairs. The...

Lovely period B and B with the most amazing breakfast buffet I have experienced outside of Warsaw and Krakow Poland! My room #10 was impeccably clean and comfortable. Lovely touches such as nighttime chocolates, fresh flowers in the room AND in the bathroom, fresh fruit in my room, etc etc etc. Don't miss the rooftop deck -- but it's two...

Beautiful restored Victorian with wonderful staff. Classical music always plays in the dining area. Complimentary New York Times and among the best buffet breakfasts I have ever had! Options for meat eaters, vegetarians, gluten-free, high-carb, low-carb, you name it. Books on the area, board games, sherry, and hot beverages available all day & night. Less than a 10 minute walk...

The Inn is a very cozy and charming B&B. Very nice and helpful staff. Extra plus was the complimentary tea, coffee, sherry and port in the evening in the livingroom. Beautiful rooms and a garden to have breakfast in in the morning. We loved it.

Although highly rated, we found this property to not reflect those positive reviews. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, bed was too high and the stool they supplied to get into bed was not stable causing my wife to fall and bruise her leg, ants in the bathroom sink and walls, even after we complained. The good was the...

Dear Stephen, So sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Unfortunately the Victorian beds are generally higher than modern beds and I apologize for your wife's fall and injury. As for the ant problem, we have had unusually high levels of rain and the ants are seeking higher ground . . . we did our best to control them. But...

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
