This is my favorite boutique hotel in San Francisco: location is ideal, great for on foot and on public transit, eateries, access to museums and galleries for us non-shoppers, and the shopping variety - upscale to bargains. Rooms are decent sized, well maintained, great beds and bedding, and at a price that makes me come back every chance I can.

Near Union Square, this Hotel is an excellent point to start visiting San Francisco. You can go on walk to SFMOMA, to take the tram to Fishermen's Wharf or to have a walk around Market Ave. I recommend you strongly.

Great hotel at a good price. Rooms are clean and seem to be recently updated. Staff was great. Your only half a block away from union square. And cable car has a stop right in front of hotel. Definitely will love to stay there again.

This hotel is ideally located for the centre of San Francisco, so close to union square so shops, bars, restaurants etc. Easy check in and although room was compact it was fine for what we wanted and so was the bathroom. Had no issues sleeping, although the walls were very thin, as in the morning could hear people coughing in... More

Pillow menu, amazing and unique Cookies and coffee every day at the front desk, delicious. Price, very reasonable considering their locations. Service from staff.... More

This is an older hotel that has the perfect location. Right across from Union Square, blocks from China town and on the trolley line. Rooms are small as well as the beds, but the location and ambiance makes up for all of this. Great bathroom and huge tub.
