If you're looking for a great deal in a residential and untouristy neighborhood, this is the place. The home and room are very clean and comfortable. The room is not overly spacious, but very comfortable - and has a great view, as do the front room and porch. The hosts are very pleasant, charming, helpful, and quite accommodating. There is...

Very nice and cozy place. Breather taking view of a distant downtown from your bedroom window. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Really enjoyed my stay. Place is in some 15 min bus ride from Downtown and Castro. There are many frequent bus services in the area. Good value for money. Would like to stay again.

It was like staying with friends of friends. Alan and Rene were charming and helpful. Arrangements for breakfast, arrivals and departures were flexible which I really appreciated. Even though it was November, the weather was beautiful and I loved breakfast in the garden. The room is pretty small but the view is amazing. The location is great, lots of local...

This is a typical San Francisco house in a real neighborhood of real people. The welcoming host provides a very clean space with a very great bed and a magnificent view. Half bath on main floor with guest room. Garden patio out back. Perfect for visits when one's S.F. offspring has a tiny space.

We stayed at Bernalview B&B for 4-5 days in June 2010. The house is really well situated in Mission, in a nice and safe neighborhood. Before we went there, Alan, the owner of the house sent us all the documents we needed to reach his place, which is really simple, even by car (you can even park in front of...

My stay at Bernal was amazing. Not only is the house charming, my bedroom cosy and comfy, the view, whether into the garden (which can be used as a place to take a leisurely breakfast) or out to the city lovely, but your hosts are genuinely charming, hospitable and above all fascinating people with whom you can really enjoy some...
