Good location. Great, funny and helpful receptionist. Rooms and bathroom nice and clean. Wifi perfect. Noisy but still good sleep. Not full points as still pricey and not all plugs working when the lights are off but would recommend this place to everyone and return myself.

Checked-in to this Inn on Sunday night of Fleetweek SF. Very friendly guy working the front desk. Said he liked me and he liked to have nice people stay in his motel. The room was very nice, clean and upgraded to modern style. Fridge, good coffee, and microwave. Water was at good temp. ac/heater was a little out dated and...

Pros: Location- 20 mins walk south of the CBD (close to the Bay Bridge Rd). Grocery stores, Coffee. Some homeless/undesirables in the greater vicinity (a few blocks north west or but easily enough avoided) Price-Competitive for pricey SF considering location Amenities-Good Wifi, Cable TV and hot water Helpful staff Cons: Thin walls- could hear a domestic argument clearly 2 rooms...

This hotel is a very good value for San Francisco. Free parking, walking distance to AT&T Park, SFMOMA, Union Square, a very clean, well-kept room with all the amenities you need, and Ricky, the manager.....what can I say about Ricky? The man is a treasure, so kind and helpful. He provided maps and information about the area, and is absolutely...

This is the second time i've stayed here. The first was several years back. The property was pretty run down back then. I just finished a two night stay and I'll say things look a whole lot better. Bare in mind, this is not a four star luxury hotel. It is basic lodging and they've certainly done the best to...

When we arrived I was a little worried. It wasn't cheap but it was the best value we could find that included parking. The office smelt terribly of food (so strong I had to stand outside) and everything was a bit grim. The location looked dodgy too. However the room was actually great. A real effort had been made to...

My husband and I had a stay in this hotel for 3 days and it was really a very pleasant experience. Its a value for money hotel with free parking service and clean rooms. The most pleasing experience was from the manager, Ricky who was always there to help us at any time. He gave us the route map, the...

We arrived early for check in but the owner Ricky was kind enough to let us have our room. He's a congenial enthusiastic person and makes you feel very welcome. He gave us a map and made notes showing us all the places we could visit and where to avoid to stay safe. The room itself is small but the...

Graeat place, great price, free parking, near union square. The guy in charge, always wanting to help. The only bad things, is that you can see a lot of homeless people arround, but i think thats all arround SF

This was a fantastic place to stay. The owner was very helpful and knowledgable, giving us a real insight into San Fransisco, and the free parking was the initial draw for us. We found the room very comfortable and extremely well maintained. I would struggle to find a fault with it. We had no noise issues and had 2 very...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
