Great value for your money. Rooms were very clean including a large bathroom. Room have recently been remodeled. Front desk was nice, and maids kept the place clean all the time. Would stay there again.

Neg : Horrible breakfast , service , rooms and overall quality. Pos : free parking space WHY ? READ BELOW. In april we made an extensive trip by rental car from Las Vegas to San Francisco. The hotel was absolutley horrible. We booked through Hotels.com at one hotel and was told this hotel was comparable at $165.00 a night. We were told it was a family suite with two bedrooms. A suite is a room with a living room and small kitchen area. What we got was two rooms, connected by a common hallway. The rooms...

The room was adequate at best as far as cleanliness - not positive the linens were all laundered . . . The real problems started about 9pm when our neighbors turned their music on and started their LOUD talking. Finally at 1am we called the desk, talked to two people who both asked our room number. It immediately quieted down...

Wonderful little hotel. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful when it came to directions and normal everyday chit cat. They provided good service and paid attention to our do not disturb requests. When the window was open it was a little noisy, but with the window closed it wasn't bad. The hotel was in a great neighborhood,...

We were "transferred" to this hotel by the Castle Inn after they booked our stay, took our payment in full months in advance, and then told us that they had no reservation and no room for us when we showed up (see my other review on them!) From my experience, I basically think that the Francisco Bay Inn is a...

We stayed 2 nights over President's day weekend. Our room was extremely noisy, stinky and small. It was almost impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs! The hotel staff was rude and not honest, always trying to charge extra. Breakfast food was not fresh!!

We just returned from a 5 night / 6 day stay in San Francisco. Got a pretty good deal on Travelicity including hotel & airfare. We stayed at the Francisco Bay Inn. The hotel is centrally located and a short distance from many points of interest, including Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate bridge, departure points in Pier 39 for Alcatraz,...

Situated on Lombard Street, the Inn is conveniently placed for all transportation links and tourist attractions. Our room had everything needed for our stay (8 days) and was kept spotlessly clean and well cared for. The reception staff were very pleasant, efficient and well informed on places to visit. Continental breakfast was good and plentifull. Traffic noise could be a...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
