The hotel is laid quite centric, rooms have a good design and staff is friendly. Just the windows are terrible since you think you sleep on the street. We recommend to claim a room not directly located at the street:-)

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

My husband and I decided to get a room for our 12th year anniversary at this lovely hotel. Upon checking in, Margaret in front desk greeted us with a friendly smile and was very helpful by recommending a few places to eat and things to do. She quickly checked us in and offered to help us with our luggage. After...

I had a deluxe room, upgraded without asking. Marguerite at the front desk gave me great, friendly service, pointed out nearby attractions, and all around made me feel very welcome. I was in town for business and this experience topped off a good trip. I think what set it apart as compared to the many other hotels I've stayed at,...

I stayed here for a couple nights on business. The location was excellent, walking distance to restaurants and nightlife and right across the street from the Museum of Modern Art. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly. What more could you ask for?

I had a great time visiting the Pickwick this past March while on holiday. Daniel was very helpful emailing and printing our NBA Warriors tickets. Rooms were on the smaller side but came with modern touches like tablets and decent wifi.

I choose to stay at the Pickwick which acts as a centralized place - close to City Hall - close to the Conventions Centers - close to the many places that I attend forums and give speeches. Serves me good and the SOMA restaurant - compliments my stay.

On arrival this hotel looked amazing, reception area was lovely however I cant say the same for the rooms. The beds were not comfortable and squeaked loudly every time you moved, the walls were paper thin and the doors were old wooden ones that did not feel very secure. Compared to hotel room size in New York the size was...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.

“I am satisfied with most everything - I know most of those that maintain the rooms - i have seen a few turn overs - but really do not know why they have left. All in all - my stay has been pleasant and I have a good relationship with the Managers and the receptionists - more business and less personal.”
