Close to transportation - Muni\Cable Cars. Get a Muni Pass - Much cheaper than paying single fares especially for the cable cars as each single trip will cost you $5! We stayed in this hotel in may 2010 for 2 nights. We booked a 2 full beds room through the bookit site for 65$ a night. First the pluses-The room and the bathroom were both clean, beds were comfortable and made everyday. There was a tv and free wifi internet in the room. There was free coffee in the library...

We stayed at this hotel to break our return journey home from Honolulu. Our tour company booked us in for 2 nights. We were dropped off by the airport shuttle at the back entrance in the carpark. This is the best hotel you can find for cheap in downtown of San francisco. The Hotel is located on mason street surrounded by lot of indian restaurants and other food places. The location of this place is not that great but the hotel from inside is fine. It has good rooms and baths. Its comfortable to reach Golden gate...

We stayed at Metropolis hotel for 4 nights..the hotel location is superb,very convenient as it is just 1 block away from the famous Union Square and cable car...Union Square is famous for its shopping and it has all the top brands shops there...as we were travelling from India,Indian vegetarian food was no problem as there are many Indian restaurants on...

Pros: Location - just down the block from Powell and Market - it means that cable car, MUNI, F-street car and BART are just a short 1-2 min walk. Value - we stayed in a 2 double-beds room, with an area for a desk, couple of chairs, minibar and a new 32 inch LCD TV - that's pretty big for...

Switched to a different room and when I walked in I noticed one of the beds was unmade. I thought it was strange but then when I walked into the bathroom there was a condom on the sink. Disgusting! Clearly they rent rooms by the hour there. Went back to the front desk to request a different room, got yelled...

I had a college gal-pal reunion in San Francisco. I was happy to find accomodations for five adult women that gave us enough room to sleep comfortably but close enough to spend good quality time with eachother. Room is basically two hotel rooms attached to a small living area. The TV in the living area is very small and outdated...
