Rooms are very small and barely able to fit out luggage (placed on floor). Space is very limited and kind of expected due to convenient location in SF downtown, just across from townhall. Service is good. Breakfast was particularly nice.

The Inn at the Opera is less than a block from the Opera House and a little over a block from Symphony Hall. There is no better place to stay if you are in the City for opera, ballet, or symphony. The Inn has a two-night minimum. So, you will have time to visit museums or fisherman's wharf or any...

My wife and I been staying in this place for a few years celebrating our wedding anniversaries and we really enjoy their service. Its located in the heart of San Francisco. We love to walk so its ideal for us to walk all the way to Fisherman's Wharf and have lunch in Boudin Bakery. This place still serves breakfast included...

First visit to SF. Nice old hotel in the auditorium/ballet/opera district. As described by others it's an old hotel but they try hard with cookies, coffee/tea, and complimentary breakfast. The old elevator reminds me of an old theatre complete with classical music playing. Breakfast was best on Monday but by Sunday the cheese was old and crumbly, bananas over ripe...

We arrived to a clean hospitable hotel exactly where we wanted to be in San Francisco. The breakfast daily was a gourmet treat. Daily cookies mid afternoon appeared and fresh water or tea most of the day. Our room was cool but we received a space heater clean and the concierge helpful. Safety was perfect as we appreciated the use...

Rooms a little small, but fine with me. I didn't live in the room. My problem was when I arrived, I didn't get a chance to freshen up first, I was pointed to a woman at reception who I thought was there to give me room directions. Wrong, she went through this long well worn speech which ended up being...

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are disappointed to hear your interaction with the resort sales staff did not meet your expectations, as this is not part of the Count On Me service we take pride in. I know that while on vacation it is important that our guests are treated well. I assure you...

We stayed here after a conference at another hotel. We loved the big real free breakfasts and the staff was polite when we needed directions to a laundry mat nearby. Our room had a little kitchen area and a separate bedroom. The location was a bit far for us since we were doing more activities by the Embarcadero, but we...

I had the privilege of staying at this lovely boutique hotel. Above all, I was so impressed by the amazing staff, especially Jurita. I had to resolve a problem with the dates of my stay, and Jurita went out of her way to handle the situation with incredible efficiency, and generosity. She was more than fair, gave me an upgrade...

I'm sorry that there was a mix up with your dates, and I'm very happy that Jurita was able to resolve the issue and make your stay so enjoyable. We'd love to have you come back for another...

The room is small but it is neat and tidy with all the basic things you need. I like their complimentary breakfast most as a server will prepare egg benedicts and waffle afresh! And the servers are very friendly too. Just a minor point, we didn't have hot water at the last night, I think it would be better if...

I have stayed here twice for a week at a time through Interval exchange, but this time I was on a business trip and decided to book two nights on my own. I stayed in the same small room, "Ballet," as other times and the rates are very reasonable. Larger two-room suites are also available. The "Ballet" is small but...

Hayes Valley
Chock full of designer boutiques, art galleries, funky shoe stores, and great restaurants, it’s hard to imagine Hayes Valley once languished in the shadow of a major freeway.
