We stayed here for a couple of nights in October last year and we will be staying here in 2016 at the end of fleet week.
The hotel is the most fascinating and as I am from a military background I found it interesting. Such...More
I've stayed here twice with my boyfriend, who's an Airforce Major.
The first time--we must have taken the last available room because it was super dated. The bathroom was TINY (and had a dingy shower) and the lighting above the sink (located separately from the...More
I am a member of the Marins's Memorial Club and we so not stay any place other than the Club. We have stayed at the San Francisci Ritz Carlton but found the Marine Memorial Club to be a genuine friendly, not dictated friendly. We look...More

Originally home to rallies supporting the Union Army in the Civil War, this grand square has become the city's premier shopping and entertainment district containing the largest number of upscale department stores, chic boutiques, art galleries and theatres in the city. It's a large open area where tourists and locals gather, watch cable cars and crowds go by, enjoy a snack, or plan their day of shopping and
sightseeing, If feeling the pulsating energy of the city is on your agenda, Union Square is the place to soak it in.

Rene you two will really enjoy your stay here. Right of Powell where the street cars run. Little French Restraunt next door is so so. The club has one of the best restaurants in town on the top floor. You are in walking distance from many places. Lyft or Urber are everywhere. I would skip the car. You should take warm clothes. You just don’t know. There are many tours to a host of choices you can enjoy as well. If you don’t have fun it’s your fault!!
