Nice to be surrounded by trees and the historic Presidio Trust ambience. Impeccably clean room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom and closet. Stayed in the annex building which was ultra quiet (compared with the main building). Excellent walkability, trails, ideal if you don't want to stay in the heart of downtown. If you're lucky, you'll spot the famous wild parrots cavorting...

Very comfortable and well appointed hotel. The rooms were very comfortable & nicely sized. The bed had a hump in the middle and was pretty firm. It should be replaced. Great amenities in the room, and the complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese were excellent quality. The common area rooms were warm and inviting. We were especially surprised by how...

Great location for biking over the golden gate bridge. Large rooms with wonderful beds and linen. Very nice wine and cheese in evening and extensive continental breakfast in morning. Very good restaurants close to the Inn especially the Mexican one.

My husband and I and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed our wedding weekend @ the Inn @ the Presidio. We appreciated the attentive friendly staff. If you are a lover of history and have an acute nostalgia for an all but forgotten time, this charming 114 year old Inn with updated amenities in one of the most beautiful parts...

This location is fantastic; the historic nature is lovely, but the modern amenities perfect! The fire pit is terrific, the food delicious and the wine and cheese every night really wonderful! Add to it very friendly staff and the best manager of an inn we've ever met, and this beats any VRBO hands down!

A great boutique hotel hidden in a sanctuary in San Francisco. We have visited SF many times and always wondered about the Presidio. What a wonderful adventure we had as the Presidio is beautiful. A retired military base the Presidio encompasses ocean fields, hiking paths to see the Golden Gate Bridge and nearby beautiful vistas. We did not leave the...

Great hotel in a historic setting. We stayed in a Classic King Tier One suite and it was well beyond our expectations. My wife was very pleasantly surprised with my choice in accomadations while in San Francisco. The price was very good but the 14% add on for National Park fee increases the total but still worth the money. Amenities...

The Presidio is a natural treasure. The opportunity to stay at a truly wonderful hotel within the grounds is a bonus. A must visit is the Officer's Club almost adjacent to the hotel and the Walt Disney Museum. The Inn has been restored and enhanced in the most tasteful and respectful way including modern amenities.
