This was a time share hotel. Had I known this I would not have chosen this hotel. It was centrally located and in the financial district. I tried to schedule an other visit and that was when I was told the hotel was a time share for corporations. The only time it is available to the public is during the...

Thank you for your stay with us srwbvf. I wish you would have had a better experience with us and left with a more favorable opinion. Firstly, you are correct in that the general public cannot book our hotel on a regular basis. We are a private business hotel that that caters to member organizations. Yes, we also feature rooms...

Great location only 3 blocks off waterfront. Nice extra benefits like expresso machine and free snacks. Fairly cheap upgrade to suite if you have family with you. This is a different hotel, but I love the quirkiness of it. Liz is great at the front desk.

The check in kiosks are a horrible idea, in my opinion. It is very impersonal to not be greeted by and checked in by a friendly staff. Our room wasn't very clean. Our queen size bed (a king was not an option online) was uncomfortable and each guest had one pillow. There really weren't any amenities given, but the use...

The location of Club Quarters is perfect. The staff provides excellent care and service and the amenities make it a comfortable place to stay. Rooms are small but well furnished and equipped. The lobby lounge is a good place to hang out. My only complaint is that there are no safes in the rooms.

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
