The rooms are a bit small and worn but they're clean and comfortable. There is free wifi and free parking and the tram to downtown SF stops diagonally across the street. If you're looking for an inexpensive and convenient place to stay, this is the place. It reminds me a bit of the Bates Motel except here the management is...

We usually stay near Union Square but have grown tired of the high prices, parking hassles and all the crazy homeless people and panhandlers. We needed to be in SF for business and this place popped up and sounded interesting. Its a really cool vintage building beautifully restored and maintained. The owner and staff were friendly and the room was...

The Ocean Park Motel in San Francisco is a classic timeless motel in the city. It's great location across from the zoo and down the street from the beach is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. I've been staying at this motel since i was a kid and it's run by the same great family today. It's rustic and the...

stayed here on business for a week last month. Loved this sweet little motel. Anybody wanting a true business hotel should go ahead and stay downtown, but for me it was perfect and a nice change of pace. The rooms are very small but very comfortable. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept...

I have stayed here several times. The Motel was built for the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge. It has retained much of the charm and beauty of that bygone time. The rooms have suites with attached kitchens. The beds are comfortable and the noise level is minimal. The Pacific Ocean is a block away and the sounds of Seagulls...

Nice place. Real friendly. Cute little old place. Has a cool court yard and also allows dogs. Small rooms but enough to get you what you need. Bed was comfortable and is walking distance to beach and also a coffee shop in the morning. Tram goes by and can hear it but didn't affect our sleep.

We rented a little suite with two rooms and a kitchen. All a little retro, but very clean and fun. The kitchen was well equipped for tea and coffee and leftovers from our other food sources. The bathroom was very, very tiny, but we managed to make do. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Quiet neighborhood and...

The motel is cozy and charming, well maintained and comfortable. It's also a visual delight and located only two blocks from the beach near the zoo and a short walk to Java Beach. Staff very friendly and accommodating even with our slightly late arrival. Can't complain about the trolley noise, slept like a log and normally any noise awakes me.

Researching this trip I was really drawn to this place for its art deco styling and location near the ocean in a residential area, but was so disappointed that the trip advisor locals tried to deter us from staying here,(repeatedly advised by locals not travellers it was a poor location for a San Francisco vacation ) We found it to...

What a wonderful motel! The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and right by the ocean. We spent most of our stay by the ocean. Also it was so convenient having the L-train right there to hop on and off for cheap, we could take it to fisherman's Warf, height Ashbury, and market street. The motel has everything wanted and all thought of....
