I stayed here for 3 days and overall it was a good stay. It's in a nice safe area and close to the Golden Gate bridge and lots of food options. Downside is it's right near a busy intersection & pretty noisy.

I'll start off by saying how great this hotel was and how much me and my friend enjoyed staying here. The family who own it are so lovely and friendly, they go out of their way to help you and were just generally very lovely people who made our stay. The area is really nice round here, nice restaurants and...

I was travelling alone with a hired Mustang. On site parking was important. The owner running it was very welcoming. The room decor dated but clean. Cost for one night was $175.42. For where it was and how late I made the booking I thought this was reasonable.

The reviews said it was clean but it was not! Stained towels, long black hairs and 'other' hairs on linen, towels, pillows, in the fridge and even stuck between polystyrene cups!!! We had only been checked in for a few hours and the toilet became blocked. The kitchen appliances and tray with cups etc. were grimy and dirty. The whole...

This is a 5 star review based on the property type. I'm not comparing this to the high-end hotels in Union Square, but this place fit all of our needs. We needed something clean and inexpensive for one night in a safe neighborhood with at least some restaurants/bars/convenience stores within walking distance. Bonus: no charge for parking. This end of...

I stayed in room 20. The towels aren't clean and I believe that the ones that you clean the floors with are also used for bodies or they wash them all together. The rooms aren't very clean, they are okay. I stayed there for a week, the location is good and near by a bus station. The owner was really...

While the rooms are not top notch, the owners are super friendly. I was there with my son, and we felt safe and comfortable. The traffic nearby can get really loud but we enjoyed it since it's a part of a big city. Would definitely satyr there again!

Bed was comfortable. .Room needed a deep cleaning. Coffee pot was filthy and gummy stuff stuck in it. After my husband cleaned it all out it still didn't work. The phone in the room didn't work so we had to use our cellphone to call the front desk. There were 3 small very thin bath towels and ONE hand towel..NO...

We arrived late for a 2 night stay so we could see L A. The room was adequate for what we needed. Traffic in the morning was heavy and the rooms all faced the road so be prepared for a noisy awakening

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
