When I drive into San Francisco, this is my motel of choice. I own a big car, and it fits just fine in their covered carport. One night I arrived late on a busy weekend and the lot was full. The desk clerk invited me to park in front of the office overnight, which is what I call service. I've...

I live in SF and many times when I have friends visiting and don't know where they should stay, I try to find a great location and a good deal. Knights Inn is perfect, really close to beautiful Crissy Fields and to the Presidio, simple but good value for the money, would totally recommend staying here!

The hotel is easy to get to, love the staff which are nice and friendly. The price is reasonable. The hotel is basic but it is clean and the walls are thick enough where you don't hear everything. The towels are plentiful and the A/C is great.

Checked out this morning after staying for 4 nights. Our room looked a little dated compared to another I saw but still had everything we needed. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Close to the bus/tram so you don't need to drive if your staying here.

We stayed at knights inm for 3 nights. The main reason that we stayed there was because of the great service that we got from the stuff. Very friendly and helpful. Also the rioms are clean and big. The liction is very good, about two stations from the golden gate bridge. I highly reccomend it! Worth the money

We arrived with no booking to this place and the lady in the office was very nice and accomodating. She also was very helpful in giving us tips for moving around the city. There is nothing better than a good welcome when you go to a new city (and such a beautiful city San Francisco is). Location is great, only...

I can't say enough about the service, some of the best I've had, but the cleanliness was an issue. Bathroom and sheets were clean, so ultimately, that was most important, but I didn't feel comfortable not wearing shoes. We found an old, dusty sock under the table. The location was fantastic, you are moments from the Presidio, and anything farther...

Room was dated but clean. Super location and got a great price as well. Chestnut street was fun and you can't beat the presidio. Staff were super nice, and actually interested in our vacation and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
