Good - The price of the hotel was accurate for the condition. Showers & bathroom were clean, and fairly newly renovated. Staff were nice and accomodating. Breakfast area was a decent size and had a adequate variety. Bedrooms were clean. Fridge, microwave & sink. Numerous power points available. The hotel was close to perfect for the price paid, except for...

It's right in the ghetto. You don't have to worry about that but the people around are really strange. There a loads of homeless and junkies but honestly that's all over the city. We travelled with a baby and it was not a problem at all. The hotel seems to be really safe. I went out to get a pizza...

I'll start by saying that if you are reading this review you probably care about your kidneys. You don't want to have to sell one in order to afford a hotel in San Francisco, but you also don't want to be stabbed in your kidneys while you sleep in a dark hovel somewhere. Fortunately, there are some places to stay...

Don't expect luxury when you choose the cheapest hotel in San Francisco. For the price, this place is excellent. Never wait for the shower and every single time I had to go to the bathroom I was alone. Shared bathroom and shower was not an issue at all. It looks exactly like the picture posted by the administration so it's...

Was greeted by a guy who was so friendly and helpful late at night. Decor in the kitchen reception area and bathrooms are lovely the rooms are a mix of being modern with elements of the old building they have done well with what they have. My bed was a bit squeaky but I can from luxury in Vegas so...

If I could have given this hotel 3.5 I would have. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the location is great and the kitchen/common area is really nice. Plus the beds are ridiculously comfy. However, you can tell that this hotel are really making steps to improve but I feel that they may still have a little way to...

I give this place 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel but for what you pay you definitely get a 5 star experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy the bathrooms and showers clean too! The rooms are on the smaller side so pack accordingly...

This place needs better reviews! It's obvious that the new management are working really hard to improve facilities and decoration. Looked like there was just the flooring to change whilst we were there. Clean facilities, if there is a problem just let reception know - all staff are friendly. Really nice breakfast area with backpacker vibe, good basic selection of...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
