The decor of InterContinental San Francisco is modern, which I love. The entrance is a bit strange but there are ample spaces for cars to stop in the entrance. I arrived late at night, so there was not much traffic. The check in experience was...More
Despite hosting the POTUS (Obama) when he was in town, some luxury business hotels just don't deliver to the average person staying. I have stayed every January for a few years and find the staff helpful and willing to go the extra mile. When there...More

I have been passing by this hotel since they open, big hotel, chain hotel kind of feeling, i was never tempted to check this out. During the remodeling of our San Francisco apartment, it was convenient for us to stay there. I would have to...More
This hotel boasted complimentary WiFi/Internet on their website and at check-in. A big lie. The WiFi did not work for 1 minute during our entire stay. When we asked, they seemed unimpressed (clearly this is common) and “transfer” to tech support was the solution. Tech...More
I paid well over $500 for two nights at this hotel. On the positive side - the staff were lovely. But I expect they know this hotel is not the best. They kindly deducted $40. From my bill because I was in a bay view...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.

My husband spent almost two hours trying to connect and was on the phone the whole time with their IT Dept. it never worked for him. I was able to connect no problem. Bottom line, you may want to consider elsewhere.
