Stayed here while attending conference at Moscone. Very close to convention center and within walking distance to many restaurants, Chinatown, and Ferry Terminal. Be advised that south of hotel is a little dicey walking at night. But overall a great stay and would stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in December. The hotel was fantastic with an easy check in service and a complimentary upgrade as we're ambassador members. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you'd expect from this hotel chain. The location was ideal with the market street trolley terminal and union square just a short...

We stayed here for 1 night in January and as a platinum member we got upgraded to a suite on the 32nd floor! Great room with amazing views! Loved it! We had the parking and breakfast package too. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel is only a few blocks away from Union Square, with all the shops. There is a...

If you are looking for a good place to stay conveniently located to everything this is the place. It was easy to get to from the airport. Just hop on the BART and get off at Powell. It took about 25-30 minutes and coat less that $8. A regular cab will cost you $50. Once there don't be afraid to...

My wife and I stayed here 4 nights in mid December, 2013 for our son's wedding. Well, to start with, our room was not available when we arrived because of a HVAC problem. We had made reservations for a Junior Suite (and they have just a limited number of these) and all the others were full and the one we...

All staff, including front desk, concierge, house keeping and room service staff are all very friendly and provide very good service. Even it's no located in Market Street, it's just 2 blocks away. So it's not as noisy and busy but still very convenience. But I don't recommend to walk on road after midnight as that is really very quiet...

We stayed here over the New Year and it was our first time here. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very attentive, polite and friendly. Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
