Nice hotel, great service... Cable car noise during the evening and I needed to get sleep for early work meeting. Only downside. Everything else was great. Concierge even hand delivered some documents I needed printed.

The rooms hasn't a good illumination, the beds are terribles, the bathroom are really old and dirty. I asked a upgrade paying for it $ 8 more and the room has a poor view and exterior noice. The towels wasn't enough and good

The hallways are "very tired". The Deluxe King room was adequate, but could also be freshened up. Loved the feather bed! The room was very quiet. Workout room had great equipment, but the machines, even though looked quite new, were a bit grungy. Staff were all amazing. Thank you for the nice stay.

The Stanford Court had the best fitness room in a hotel we ever encountered. The Concierge and front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable; probably the best in any hotel we slept in.

Rooms are overpriced. I had a very small room with an odd layout. Blind were malfunctioning. Food selection and quality was poor. WiFi service was very spotty and also the TV channels had extremely poor reception.

After a tough day of business meetings it was a pleasure to "come home" to this hotel. Meal times (two breakfasts, one dinner) were also efficient and excellent. I will probably make this my SF base of operations for future trips.

Very disappointed with the hotel. Will not return. Poor food choices, no water in room or minibar, just very below average in most respects. I stay in hotels about 120 nights per year and this hotel was below standard. I'll go back to the Westin or W next time.

If you would be...

Stanford court is a unique hotel. It is not a chain so you notice the different atmosphere. The marketing department does a great job of modernizing the hotel. It has vintage and modern feel. The water stations are very good and the whole concept of no room service and a more green initiative is awesome.

When I arrived I was greeted with the surprise that I was going to be charge an extra $20 from my quoted fare for this so called '"urban bundle". Though I understand this might be a great deal for someone who wants it and would use it, I was attending a conference and when I asked the staff if I...

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
