Staff was great, but I had issues with the rooms. I asked for early check-in when I made the reservation. When I arrived, I was told the only room available then was $35 more. I reluctantly paid because I had to get ready for a business meeting. The first room had a big wet spot on the carpet, and the...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm very sorry these two things happened. Your original room had a spot removed from the carpet shortly before your arrival and should have remained out of service until the carpet was dry. I am very sorry about that. I understand completely the frustration you must have felt...

Pluses: The room was huge for a city hotel. The water refill station was a plus especially considering the required purchase "urban bundle" only provided one bottle of water for the entire 4 night stay for 2 people. Location was great unless you don't have the stamina to climb hills. Minuses: The bathroom was dirty. The front desk staff was...

I lived in San Francisco for 14 yrs and worked back in the day in boutique hotels. It's always a delight to find a place that has it all. Views, service and character. These days I travel 45-48 weeks out of the year so my hotel experiences are vast and varied. I would highly recommend this place for any business...

Great location, walking distance to chinatown and shopping cexpensive and easy access to cable cars. Overnight parking is very expnsive ($52 excluding tax) but you can find street parking around the hotel if you have patience to wait/look for one. They charge an additional $20 per night for breakfast coffee and oj, printing services and access to gym which was...

The position of the hotel was ideal. They had a great mobile deal that gave me at least $150 off. The down side to the hotel was their breakfast. You have to pay to receive their breakfast which is bizarre because you get free coffee and juice, though the hotels next to it, you get free breakfast. I recommend this...

I loved the courtyard in this hotel. It was a quiet, safe space away from the city noise. The location of this hotel is terrific. I could walk to almost all the places I wanted to go. The staff was very nice.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
