I'll preface this by saying that I didn't enjoy Union Square much and would recommend areas like Union St in Cows Hollow over it if you want more authentic SF and less of a tourist trap feeling. That being said, this hotel was overpriced. Although, all hotels in that area are overpriced. It was the cheapest of the bunch, which...

I first want to agree with you that the area can be a very expensive area in comparison to many other neighborhoods in San Francisco, but the central location gives it great access to many of the amenities and tourist attractions that call people to this city. This area is specifically know for its shopping and of course the cable...

The Harberton Hotel has such a great central location in San Francisco, with public transport in the street outside and just round the corner and lots of shops, to buy or just look in Union Square and nearby streets. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms well serviced.

Location is perfect. Room is clean. There is a ceiling fan in the room, but no air conditioning. You can hear the street noise with the window open. There are basic amenities and a mini fridge in the room.

We loved our experience at this hotel. Best location and a short walk to everything. Would definitely stay here again. This hotel was only a block and a half from the Powel Street trolley station, close to Market Street, short walk to Union Square. Great shopping area with lots of restaurants. You can't go wrong! Service was very good at...

The hotel is very close to Union Square, rooms are spacious but the beds need new mattresses. Also probably you will need earplugs for sleeping since around there are bars having live music till very late. The bed clothes and towels need to be replace.

We replace the linens and towels daily in the rooms. If there is ever an issue with towels or if any extra are needed then it is possible to call down and have some brought up for you. The only other way that your room will not be serviced is if there is one of our "privacy please" signs, in...

The room was nice. I would not suggest the economy room because you do not get your own room. Very quite and peaceful when you consider you smack in the middle of Market St. Rooms could use some updates and the view can suck if your on a lower floor

The economy rooms we offer are of a lower price compared to others, such as our deluxe, which includes a bathroom. Although it may be odd to have a room without a bathroom included, we offer these rooms at a lower rate, which might be better for some of our customers. This bathroom as well as the shower just opposite...

All of the staff are very kind, and the room is clean all the time. Although the wifi needed to be reenter every 24 hours, the speed is fine for me to use. I think the breakfast is also great, they offer many different kind of bread and lots of cheese cream, butter, jam and honey. I miss them so...

Very fair prices for the location and condition of the hotel. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and rooms look great, especially those in the 6th floor. Parking is not included but there are options nearby. Very convenient overall. Loved it.
