discouraged by the lack of air conditioning.
And yes, the hotel has elevators.
Pretty safe during the day, but wouldn't risk it at night. Lots of homeless living in the area. We picked up a cab from Fisherman's Wharf and it cost about $10 to get back there. Be sure to ask for a quiet room
