This isn't a fancy hotel and when you arrive you might be dismayed by the exterior and the reception area, however the rooms themselves are well appointed and clean and for the price totally acceptable. The free breakfast is an added bonus.

We arrived in the evening, and had planned the stay two months before. I had a legitimate MasterCard, the same one I had reserved the room with,. It had $1,800 credit on it, but they would not take it because the bank logo was not on the card. I even showed them my bill, with the exact same numbers that...

I had a wonderful experience due to the circumstances that I was in and Ruth was so helpful in booking a room for me at the cheapest (affordable) rate possible. I would most definitely recommend to come here again. But I would like it if they have updated their TVs and furniture in general, it would be nice if my...

Hotel room clean, appliances fine but the neighborhood very bad. We didn't want to leave the room after 8pm. Wifi didn't work either, although we got the password. Breakfast was not great as well. Overall good money for one night stay but not as a tourist.

Located in a dubious neighborhood. The room next to mine was used by a hooker and the door would slam - hard - every hour or so throughout the night waking me up. The price I paid and the $ I saved by staying here was definitely NOT worth it.

I got "upgraded" into a bigger room which was exciting until I realized it was probably because no one wants to stay in it because it is in the noisiest part of the hotel. Right next to the maids quarters and the busiest street with tons of construction all hours of the night and day. The walls are paper thin...

My son & I stayed for one night. Mildly disappointed that parking was not included ($10) but it's better than street parking. Rooms were clean. Surprised us with a small pool! It was clean & refreshing. Close to AT&T park. We simply took Uber for the baseball game. Left too early for complimentary continental breakfast, so no opinion on that....

We stayed there during Dreamforce and extend it for couple days. Why stressful? Because someone was knocking to my and my friends door at 2:30am and it wasn't room service. I'm not so brave to open doors only observed through window (our rooms was on ground floor and was reachable from parking) Rooms are clean and big. Location is ok...

We stayed in this hotel during a business trip, where we spent all day out in the city and only slept there for a few hours. For this purpose it was absolutely fine, but they charged an extra amount for parking and we never knew what the other 50USD was... The breakfast was not really colorful, but it was ok.

Places in San Francisco are ridiculously priced. We had a certain budget for a hotel so this is what we found. The hotel is in the SoMa (South of Market) district. I actually like the area where the hotel is at. Just a few blocks south of Market St. (one of the main streets that run through SF) and downtown....

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
