My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Harbor Court to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed at the Harbor Court numerous times over the years and always enjoy their clean and comfortable Bay view rooms, friendly staff and great location. But this last visit was extra special. Prior to our arrival Rob, at the front desk, had our room decorated with multi-colored rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed with others sprinkled throughout the room. We also found chilled champagne and glasses awaiting as well as cupcakes with red hearts and other goodies! If that wasn’t enough, we answered a knock on the door and a gentleman delivered Happy Anniversary balloons.

Thank you Rob and staff for making our anniversary stay at the Harbor Court extra special. We look forward to returning many times in the future.

I stayed in a queen bed room. It was a small, tight space but maneuverable for one person and since I only had a carry on. The bed was super soft and cozy and extremely well put together (we own a 5-star rental condo unit in a prime city and had to teach my cleaning crew the proper way to fold the sheets for people expecting to stay in a five-star hotel). It was clean and the front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, no matter what time of day I called downstairs for something (8pm or 5am). The hotel is also a great location, across the street from the Bay Bridge and 5 min walk to the Ferry Building market and shops. If you are a coffee lover and enjoy healthy breakfast wraps or egg sandwiches, there is a Starbucks 2 blocks away, however I would highly recommend Sweet Joanna’s Cafe. I had a loaded veggie breakfast wrap with all the veggies, large coffee latte with almond milk and a coconut water for $24 with tip. Coffee is $3-$4. Breakfast was fresh, fast and delicious.

The staff at Harbor Court Hotel are top notch! I set out to arrange a stay for my parents 50th Anniversary, a surprise I hoped to pull together at the last minute. Well, Rob & Alexis really did me (and them) right!! I won't go into the boring details, but the whole plan was a fiasco on my end. Rob & Alexis were helpful, calm and very accommodating, setting my parents up with a beautiful room and a beautiful display of love including flowers, wine and sweets. My parents were blown away! Adding to that the wonderful location, the cleanliness of the property and the spectacular view - the experience was simply wonderful from beginning to end! I highly recommend this hotel and if you have a chance to meet either Rob or Alexis - give them a huge thanks from Me!!! Thank you for making a special day unforgettable. Cheers!!!

Overpriced and overrated. The rooms are a size of shoebox and we were first offered a room with NO window! I have never in my life seen a hotel room that would have no window, made us super claustrophobic and uncomfortable so we had to complain. They don’t provide basic items like shower caps unless you request them downstairs. Also note the coffee and wine are NOT FREE, the fee is included in the “hidden fees” - the occupancy tax you will be requested to pay at the checkout. Surprise!

I booked the hotel for a business trip to San Francisco, the hotel was booked for 2 weeks, I had a problem the first day with payment for some problems with the company card and I had to pay the first night, the next day, Everything was resolved with the payment, so I asked for the money back and the answer was that they would keep the money for the possible expenses included in the room, I did not understand the answer, because they treated me as if my company was not going to pay or as if I didn't have money to pay them, it was very uncomfortable and very disrespectful.
It is not the first time that my company has booked at this hotel, I do not understand how they have not contacted the company if they have any problems and they treat me as if I were not going to pay them or as if I had no money.
The experience was very unpleasant, and until the last day, they treated me as if I was going to leave without paying when in fact they should have contacted the company to solve it.
Too expensive for the room so small they have and for the service they give, the hotel was very noisy at night and during the early mornings with a lot of blows
I would never recommend it and I have asked my company to never offer it again to the workers because it is really a bad experience.

Rob greeted me, and assigned me to a cozy room. I slept really well. The complimentary coffee and New York Times is an added bonus.

Here's comes the bad part: the next door sushi restaurant disappointed me. First they closed at 9PM on Sunday night so I felt rushed because the bartender wanted to go clubbing. Really!!?? I told him that I was starving. He directed me to the $95 prix-fixed that consisted of 12 mini bites of fish. It turned out that there were more affordable options at larger portions. I left hungry and feeling very ANGRY.

Finally at the end of my hotel stay, one of the front desk employees begged me to rank s/he. That person did an excellent job, but I found that request pushy. Then again in SF, I found that other places of businesses were requesting an online review.

Even though I live in the Bay Area, I wanted to have a “San Francisco style” weekend to celebrate with my beau.  I looked at multiple hotels, read countless reviews, and chose Harbor Court Hotel based on what I read about their amazing customer service, the photos of the beautiful rooms, bay views and appealing amenities.  I wanted a boutique hotel experience that was unique, and Harbor Court did not disappoint!  The lobby walking in is gorgeous and walking from the front door to the check-in desk already felt amazing.  I’d called ahead of time and spoke with Jessica to let her know we were celebrating an anniversary and she definitely took care of us.  We had an awesome room with inviting décor, and beautiful views of the Bay Bridge and Embarcadero.  The Ferry Building is steps away with plenty of eateries and sights to see.   There are lots of things to do within walking distance, which was perfect for the type of city experience I was looking for.  I’ll have to say the morning coffee and donut bar in the morning was a huge selling point for me.  Super cute and unique!  While enjoying our coffee and donut in the lobby, I chatted with JaVonne and let him know that I was hoping for an opportunity to get on the bicycles and enjoy a ride down to the piers before checking out.  He made it happen and he and Luis set us up with the bicycles, and we had a great experience riding down the Embarcadero and enjoy a delicious lunch!  It was an amazing experience overall, and I’ll happily book at the Harbor Court Hotel again and recommend to my friends!  Thank you Jessica, JaVonne, and Luis for making our stay amazing!

This is my new favorite hotel in SF! We were blown away from the moment we arrived. The customer service was incredible and the front desk agent, Stephanie, was the sweetest and gave us the best customer service we've ever received. She was super friendly, thoughtful, and went above and beyond, making our birthday trip so memorable!

The views from the jet-setter room were breathtaking! From the early morning sunrise to the colorful sunsets and twinkling bridge lights at night, it felt like something out of a movie and we didn't want to shut the blinds. The prime location can't be beat, right on the embarcadero and the ferry building is across the street! Even though it's surrounded by so many great restaurants and shops, it was surprisingly quiet and we got a good night's sleep every night which is unheard of in the city. The bed was very comfortable and I liked that they gave so many pillows. We also loved that they had Malin+Goetz products.

We appreciated the touches like the complimentary gym next door, donuts every morning, wine happy hour in the evenings, and really nice bikes for riding along the embarcadero to the farmers market which was so fun (even strangers were complimenting our bikes). It was super quick to get an uber to the hotel and the valet was also friendly and prompt. I liked that the front of the hotel was on a side street so it was quiet without much noise and traffic. Lastly, there was an amazing Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel with a great happy hour. We've been to many hotels around the country and this one really had it all!

Husband and I were looking for a new location for our long weekend SF trip. I’m so happy we stumbled upon the Harbor Court Hotel! It’s conveniently close to the BART embarcadero station and within easy walking distance of the Ferry Building and the Exploratorium. We felt safe walking around the area at night, and the hotel was easily found by ride sharing drivers. The building itself is a renovated YMCA building with a spacious lobby heated by a fireplace. There are tasteful nods to the Y throughout the lobby, and coffee/tea and doughnuts were offered in the morning. There was a lovely nautical theme to our room with unobstructed views of the Bay Bridge. Loved the Malian & Goetz bathroom amenities. Our room was quiet, cozy, clean, and spacious. Can’t wait to return in the future!

Great smallish hotel on the water, across from SF Ferry Building. Perfect Embarcadero location for Saturday farmer’s market, access to public transportation, walking along the Bay to Giant’s games, restaurants, and more. Bay view rooms cost more more but come with wonderful views of Bay Bridge (moving lights display at night) and the waterfront action.
