I was unable to check into my room until 4pm. There was no notification of a late check in sent with the confirmation for the room. We were told it was housekeepings fault for the delay. We were told several times it would only be a few minutes. When we pressed the staff they admitted it would be at least...

I am shocked to hear the team at the desk acted the way you describe, guest will usually compliment them in their reviews. I am so sorry that your stay had to start on such a terrible note. I would love to connect with you personally to apologize and try and make the situation right. Again, these are not the...

I booked and paid for a stay at Harbor Court through Priceline. Upon checkout, I was billed $66 by the hotel for a "mandatory amenities" charge without being told by the front desk upon either check in or check out (I only found out on my credit card statement). Harbor Court also held over $600 on my credit card during...

I am very sorry your opinion of the hotel was marred by our amenity fee and the hold that was placed on your account. I would be happy to connect with you and discus the charges you are seeing and take care of them since you feel they were not presented to you. However we certainly never intend on withholding...

We loved the location of Harbor Court Hotel. So close to the Ferry Building, which we love. Love that they had bikes for us to use during our stay. We were able to enjoy the wine reception in the afternoon before heading out for the evening. Fun place, great atmosphere.

Dear CrazyTravelMom Sound like you were able to enjoy all of the amenities of the hotel except for the Gym, but we'll give you a pass for missing a workout since you were on vacation. If you are ever need a brake from all your mom duties let us know and we will have a room and glass of wine...

Drove up from Los Angeles and spent three nights at this charming hotel. Extra-large lobby was a terrific place to meet visitors and have meetings and the a.m. coffee with complimentary newspapers and the evening wine reception was a plus. The location, just a block or so from the Market Place on the Pier on the Embarcadero was great and...

The location of this hotel is great, close to the bottom of Misson and Market and on the Embarcadero with lots of great restaurants close by. Pier 39 is a 30 minute walk and great transportation access. The problem is that this hotel is right next door to the YMCA and probably was once a part of it and so...

Thank you choosing to stay with the Harbor Court Hotel. If you ever find yourself in San Fransisco please take a look at booking on of our View rooms, those rooms have a little more space accompanied by an awesome view!

Unfortunately, Harbor Court Hotel seems to have gone down since I last stayed here a few years back. Room service didn't replace our hotels on the 2nd night. We called in for some new towels and it was 30 minutes before someone came to our door to clarify the situation and then provide towels. One of the towels in the...

Dear Wander L Thank you so much for your feedback and the nice comments about our staff. I am sorry that a stained towel made it passed our linen company, laundry service, our housekeeping team and all the way to your room before it was noticed, and that a replacement was not brought to you right away. We will take...

Lovely hotel, kind and attentive staff. We live in the East Bay and just wanted a quick get away to the city. Location near the Ferry Building makes everything walkable. Great food nearby and our room had a fantastic view of the Bay Bridge and lights.

We have stayed at Harbor Court a number of times over the years and it was our "go-to" hotel in SF. This past time, however, was disappointing in a number of ways. First, the hotel is not being transparent about new fees. You may think you are getting a great discounted rate but there's an additional $22 per day which...

Rooms are small, cramped. Bathroom fixtures need work. View was of a wall. Parking is not provided. Just a place to sleep. Not a the ideal comfort if you want to hang around hotel. There are nearby restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Pier 39 is within a 1/2 to 1 miles walking distance. Located By the Bay Bridge. Would...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
