I stay here often while it is true the rooms could use some updating the friendly professional staff make up for any short comings. The hotel is in the heart of Chinatown, minutes from the embarcadero and cable cars.

We stayed during Labor Day weekend and booked a room on the top floor with balcony. The outer lobby with the red seats was nice, check-in was a little longer than desired given we had prepaid. Self park was fine but pricey. Got up to the room and WOW! View of Coit Tower, Alcatraz and Bay (GG Bridge is NOT...

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel and the experience was ok. The hotel is located very close to China Town and Little Italy and was within walking distance of the ferry building. I stayed here for two nights the last weekend of august 2015. Sitting at the computers I could listen to the employees at the counter mocking other customers to a degree I was without words. One girl (bowtie hair) would twerk towards her employees acting out visitors questions as if talking with her behind. All the others were laughing loud...

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
