The overall facilities were fine, but the room was very small and the bathroom needs updating. Otherwise hotel was nice, with a pretty lobby and decent gym. You're essentially in Chinatown, so you're a bit removed from most attractions. But if you're a walker, you can get to the embarcadero and fisherman wharf in under an hour. Wouldn't stay there...

A ideal hotel to stay in Sanfrancisco financial district, easy access to the Bay Area and also to the other parts of the city. Close to China town with lots of eat out options in the vicinity. Nice view of the bay from the rooms on the higher levels.

Went for a long weekend visit with family. Business oriented hotel with very nice accommodations and friendly staff (shout out to the doorman who made every day bright and sunny!). Pleasant walk out the hotel lobby and into Chinatown or longer stroll to Market Street, shopping and entertainment. Interesting tidbit: The hotel was used in one of the Dirty Harry...

Hotel was nice and clean, staff was very helpful. The bedding was really comfortable, with feather pillows and down comforter. This hotel is very centrally located, and was a great price for the accommodations. The only issue was the ice machine on our floor did not work for a couple of days.

My wife and I had a one night stay at the Hilton Hotel (bus district) in San Francisco. We really enjoyed the friendly hotel staff and the upgraded room. The bay view from the 29th floor was breathtaking and we will be retuning!

Charged me for checking out early.. what a joke of a policy. Management did not even care about my concern even though my bill was over $1k. Sticking with Marriott moving forward. I would never recommend this place

Top floor had a great view. Cute litte patio. Room was very clean passed my brothers "no prints left behind" policy, which is VERY hard to do. Comphy bed, TV had bad connection with most channels, but who needs TV! It was delightfully quiet, minus the hallway howlers, who felt the whole world needed to hear about their turmoil with...

Being downtown, the location couldn't have been better. However, it's $60/nt to park here. That is crazy! Price for the room was fair for the location, but that amount to park I can't get over. Service was good and quick to respond. Rooms were clean and spacious. Guess I can't ask for more than that.

Great location and right next to the Transamerica building. Price was a little expensive but I expected that when you consider where it's at and the huge corporations near by. Also right next to Chinatown and many great places to eat. Photo was out of a bay view room, executive floor

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
