Hi there, get in touch with them to ask about shower access. They were great to deal with. Lifts to upper floors were good and hallways nice and wide. Entry to room was a normal door, not extra wide, but they may well have rooms specifically for wheelchairs. Definitely contact them, they got back to answer a question we had the next day.

I am a Brit living in North America. The answer depends on how many people and your budget. I always use Uber. Uber is around $30 from SFO to F Wharf, for up to 4 people. The alternative is BART but you have to pay per passenger of course then you have to get from downtown BART to F Wharf (taxi or Uber) so my advice is to just use Uber from A to B.
