HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The Hyatt Regency is a nice hotel - inviting lobby with a very large, open atrium format. Doormen greet and can take luggage, if you desire. Staff were impeccably courteous and professional. Rooms were modern with easily accessible plugs and USB ports on each side of the bed. TV's supported ChromeCast for watching your own Netflix/HBO. The only negative at...

Bathroom - old, but still ok, small mirror missing. 3. Food, unfortunately room service is provided in certain hours, not the whole night. his is a big...

We stayed 2 nights, hotel is near many things, shops / restaurants. The room was great, spacious and comfortable bed. The lobby is good to just hang out or if you need to get work done. We did eat at the hotel lobby bar which was good but pricey. We had a little medical emergency and the hotel staff was...

Walking distance to shopping, resturants, comedy club, and jazz club. A few short steps to the Bart and across the street from the Ferry Building. The hotel gym had everything I needed. No need for a rental car, if you stay here.

We've stayed at The Hyatt Regency @ Embarcadero SF 5 times now & each stay has been lovely. You can't beat the hotel's location & views of the bay bridge! The staff is so nice & accommodating. The renovations to the property (lobby / bar / restaurant) have really improved the hotel's aesthetic & the food at Eclipse (the Hotel's...

I just checked in and was disappointed to find my room on the 5th floor is basically above a busy bus stop. Looks like I'll be getting little sleep. I'm a Hyatt World higher tiered member - they offered me the change to buy upgraded rooms but shouldn't they be upgrading me for free???

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
