How many hotel rooms have a nice space to put on ones face? Not only does this have nice vanity with sink but another nook for working ones magic. Usually I seem to be juggling bottles and bags and sharing a tiny space to boot. This room has it all. Comfortable beds, nice linens, a small kitchenette, great location. And...

We stayed at the Laurel Inn this past weekend as part of a room block that was reserved for us (we were in town for a family wedding). The hotel staff was very friendly; no issues there. However, I couldn't believe how overly "pet friendly" the hotel was - and not in a good way for those of us without...

While we have already been in a private conversation, I would like to thank you for your comments and apologize for the stay that you experienced with us. As I mentioned, while we are a pet friendly hotel, this is a minor portion of our clientele. After a guest who brings a pet checks out, we do complete an extensive...

Thank you for your kind words. We have found that many of our guests feel that they are in San Francisco without being in San Francisco. Staying in the Laurel Heights neighborhood with all of the local businesses, restaurants and parks that are close to us is a definite attraction to our guests. On a nice day, many of our...

This was one of the saddest hotel rooms I have ever seen for the price. I booked this online - The Galleria Park was full - so their website suggested their sister hotel The Laurel Inn. It looked nice in the photos so I booked and paid in advance for a $310 US room ($360 CDN) When I got to...

Great option for a budget traveler who wants to spend a week in a real San Francisco neighborhood. The rooms remind me of the mini-apartments that are common in European cities. They have kitchenettes that can be used for breakfasts or even to make a quick meal with supplies from the city's legendary farmer's markets. The street level is fairly...

The Laurel Inn is a cute little boutique hotel well located in San Francisco. There are shops, small restaurants, grocery stores, a movie theater and The Presidio near by. You can request a room with a refrigerator. The rooms are quite large and some come with a view. They have parking available but Bus service is right on the corner..there...

Our experience may be unusual because we stayed at this small boutique hotel for 2 nights during a very bad storm that knocked out power around San Francisco including the hotel. While I do thank you for your input, I am sorry for the experience that you during your stay. During the power outage that took place, the majority of hotels in San Francisco were hit. Based on the price point, I must admit we were not expecting much in the way of sophisticated lodging. Admittedly the hotel has some age on it, thus some of the "modern" amenities end up being a bit dated, but overall the rooms and furnishing exceeded expectations. While it lacks air conditioning, so it could be warm in the deep...
