My son lives in Russian Hill, so Fisherman's Wharf is convenient. The location is convenient, hotel layout and edgy design are OK, and staff were friendly and helpful. The major drawback is that nobody seems to be keeping up the building. It is clean and the elevators work, but all sorts of little things are broken - and the annoyances...

When we arrived around noon and our room was ready so we were able to check in early. From the outside the hotel looks really small but once you get onto your floor your see the halls are really long. Our room was on the second floor right in front of the hotel sign- I was worried that the light...

Just spent four nights here...can not fault it...on check in were re-allocated our room due to assigned room being too close to elevators considering length of stay...this was much appreciated...the new room was not ready till after 4pm so we were given IHOP breakfast vouchers for our inconvenience...again much appreciated...this hotel is obviously big on customer service...every minor issue we...

Clean and newly remodeled. Very close to all tourist areas in SF- Rooms are large, beds comfy but too much street noise through the thin windows (which BTW, open with no screens, can a kid fall?) Staff was friendly and attentive. Free- Wi-Fi, coffee in the room and games for the kids. I would return but would ask for an...

This newly revamped hotel is right next to Pier 39 and is fun for kids with its games room, ping pong table, pool table, free wifi and fire pits in the outside hang-out place. Our family room was large enough for 4 with 2 double beds, lots of drawers and a cupboard, a good bathroom, big TV and a view...

The husband I escaped for a few days to San Francisco and landed at the Hotel Zephyr. You can not get a better location - a block from Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square - the view from our room was actually Alcatraz! The hotel is funky and fun with a pool table, ping pong, and many other games. There are...

Room furniture was great. Walking distance to pier and food. We took an uber everywhere. Cool bar/lounge about a block away; Gold Dust. Weather wasn't the greatest so wasn't able to use the outside patio/lounge area at the hotel.

Stayed at the Zephyr for 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are quirky, comfortable and clean. Our room had a magnetic dartboard and a backgammon set as well as a tv for entertainment. The hotel is located one block from the waterfront and a five minute walk to...

Quirky hotel in a great location near Fishermans Wharf. Close to transport, dining, shopping, tours. Clean and comfortable with little extras for entertainment (dartboard, backgammon in room) and games room downstairs. Very helpful concierge.

After you spend the day running around the city, play in the game room and enjoy the yard at this fun hotel. The Zephyr is close to the F-line (takes you downtown), Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. It's right next door to a breakfast place and great restaurants for lunch and dinner. The bed was extra comfortable and the room...
