Fantastic hotel staff! We were originally allocated a room on the 1st floor facing the street. It was quite noisy and there was also a leak in the window area from the aircon in the room above. Hotel staff were able to move us to another room on the 3rd level facing the courtyard which was dead quiet!!! Just what...

We had a wonderful stay at Pier 2620! 4 1/2 stars. Location was super convenient. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. I loved the decor. I love the funky vibe including the choice of music played in the public areas. Breakfast was great, fitness center was as well. The staff was top notch; we had a problem with a tour...

Stayed in June 16, first trip to SF and had all the usual decision about staying downtown or in the wharf. Decided on the wharf area and it was by far the best choice. The hotel is modern, clean, the rooms are really funky as are the corridors. Concierge was polite, professional and friendly as well as very knowledgeable. Parking...

Located close to Fishermans Wharf this boutique hotel had plenty to offer. Walking in to the foyer we were promptly greeted by reception who checked us in smooth and fast. The hotel itself is in a large square format and at times it was confusing to find which direction to walk to our room. Maybe that was just me in...

Good hotel if you want to be in walking distance to fishermans wharf which we really enjoyed. Only problem had to pay an urban tax which was not told to us when booking it cost an extra $30 American dollars which did include breakfast for 2 and wifi which we couldn't get. Rooms were good nicely done In an industrial...

Hotel was great. One negative is the outside noise from the streets. As busy as San Francisco is I think the noise is inevitable unless you are on a very high floir. Also, you pay a 30.00 per day urban fee. They do offer a free breakfast buffet each day that makes up for that. You will easily spend that...

My boyfriend & I booked a last-minute room here after a disastrous reservation experience at a hotel around the corner. I can't recommend this hotel enough! The room was modern & comfortable, it had a great courtyard area, the location was perfect & the staff very friendly. I will definitely stay again on a future trip! They saved our vacation!

As we are not used to road noise where we live we asked to change to a more quiet room .Hotel management not only were more than happy to change our room , we got a upgrade to a beautiful bigger room, and a apology, which was not nessersary. Thankyou.

This hotel is located in a great area. Far away enough from Fisherman's Wharf but still close by to walk there. I really love the industrial look of the rooms. But I thought the lighting was very low. At times we needed more light and we had to turn everything on just to see. Will definitely stay here again nonetheless.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the intersection of historic North Beach and world-renowned Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2620 Hotel is the ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a break from the ordinary. Because we believe your San Francisco experience shouldn't have to end when you walk into your hotel. We call it "urban sleek," our guests describe it as "industrial chic," "hip nautical," and simply "one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in." We're unlike anything else you'll find in Fisherman's Wharf, which is exactly how we like it. Renovated in late 2015, the largest standard guestrooms in the area feature a meticulously curated waterfront-themed décor, with high-end custom finishes. All rooms include: Serta Platinum Suite II mattresses, 55" flat screen TVs with media hubs, complimentary WiFi, eco-friendly bath amenities, in-room safes, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Onsite parking, access to a VIP Club Lounge and 24-hour fitness center are just the start of what makes Pier 2620 Hotel the perfect home away from home. Pier 2620 Hotel's prime location and variety of transportation options provides travelers with easy access to a variety of areas for work and play, including: Moscone Center, Fort Mason, Union Square, SOMA, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Cable Cars, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. ... more   less
