We got a good rate and had a decent room, albeit across the street from construction at the Marriott which we did not know about. The hotel itself is very nice, the staff is very good and the rooms were nice and clean but a bit dimly lit. The $30 fee for breakfast and wifi didn't seem like a lot...

Stayed for four nights and it was a great stay, location was brilliant as it was in easy reach of Fishermans Wharf and lots of restaurants. We opted out of the breakfast as it was a resort fee of $30 dollars per night which we thought was very expensive. First night we stayed in a room facing the main road...

Booked this hotel for business bevause all of tjr financial district hotwls were sold out or outrageously prices. The hotel has an interesting industrial style, which was fine for me. Staff was nice and room clean. However, major issues with sound from the street. The windows are paper thin and both nights' sleep was interrupted multiple times throughout the night....

This place leaves food that guests bring to their rooms then place in the hallway when they are done from the "free" breakfast that you are charged $35 a person for, weather you want it or not, lying on the floors all weekend! Even when we asked several times for someone to pick the dishes and broken wine glass up,...

Thank you for letting us know about your recent stay with us Jeannetteo421. We are truly sorry about the issues you experienced with dishes in the hallway. Our daily breakfast is not intended to be removed from the restaurant area, so we sincerely apologize that we were not able to prevent that from happening, and that it was not promptly...

The hotel is in a great location for first time visitors. Cool vibe and the decor is very different. The bed was really comfortable. Only complaint I have is the noise from other rooms. We stayed here before our cruise and after for 3 days. We had a 3rd floor suite on our first nigh upgraded at check-in. Amazing room,...

We have been to San Fran many times, but this was a first with our 7 year old daughter. We drove back from Tahoe to spend the weekend before flying back. We got in around 11 am and our room was ready. Parking is steep at $48 a night, but the garage is directly under the building and a short...

We had been traveling for about a month and by far this is the worst hotel service we had encountered. Firstly when we waited to try and check in we had to wait for the staff member to finish going through her bag to ensure she was staying up to date with her message or something on her phone. Once...

Clint, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience at Pier 2620 Hotel. We're so sorry we left you frustrated and with such a negative impression. Hotel has a great decor. However, sound really travels. We stayed for 3 nights and 2 of those resulted in extended periods of interrupted sleep because of sound we could hear from other guests in their rooms. When addressing our concerns with the front desk after two nights we were told we could move to another room, but no guarantee...

I was for nights in this hotel and I was kind of disappointed. The main problem was the bad or null acoustic and thermal isolation of the windows. I had to sleep with 5 pillows on my head to avoid all the noise coming from the street. Not all the noise from the street, but also all days at 9.00...

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. First when it was a Hilton property and afterward when the ownership changed. Mostly the reason we stayed was because of the location. It is just 2 short blocks from the streetcar and just a few more blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. It is clean and the staff is friendly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the intersection of historic North Beach and world-renowned Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 2620 Hotel is the ideal choice for discerning travelers seeking a break from the ordinary. Because we believe your San Francisco experience shouldn't have to end when you walk into your hotel. We call it "urban sleek," our guests describe it as "industrial chic," "hip nautical," and simply "one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in." We're unlike anything else you'll find in Fisherman's Wharf, which is exactly how we like it. Renovated in late 2015, the largest standard guestrooms in the area feature a meticulously curated waterfront-themed décor, with high-end custom finishes. All rooms include: Serta Platinum Suite II mattresses, 55" flat screen TVs with media hubs, complimentary WiFi, eco-friendly bath amenities, in-room safes, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Onsite parking, access to a VIP Club Lounge and 24-hour fitness center are just the start of what makes Pier 2620 Hotel the perfect home away from home. Pier 2620 Hotel's prime location and variety of transportation options provides travelers with easy access to a variety of areas for work and play, including: Moscone Center, Fort Mason, Union Square, SOMA, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Cable Cars, Ghirardelli Square, Little Italy, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. ... more   less
