This is a wonderful location for anyone traveling to San Francisco; particularly for the first time. Fisherman's Wharf is right there and there is no end to the activities, restaurants and museums to get to. The customer service is top notch, the beds are heavenly comfortable

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. It's a lovely hotel in Fisherman' Wharf and within waking distance to shops, restaurants and the Bay. We didn't have much of a view out of the window but we didn't come to San Francisco to stay in doors. The staff are ever so friendly and

This hotel is great! The beds are super comfortable along with the pillows, the rooms were very clean and the tv is massive. Our room we stayed in came with two queen beds. The pool outside is heated and is very large great for summer. The gym is excellent and has great

We’re delighted to learn that you enjoyed all aspects of your stay at Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s wonderful that our comfortable beds and pillows, along with our great amenities and ideal location, enhanced your visit to San Francisco. I stayed here for a couple of nights for business. While there really isn't anything bad about the hotel, there not much that good either. Cons: Old - Felt like a 70s design with ancient decor Smell - Musty and not pleasant Bathrooms - About the smallest I can remember Upkeep

It was a pleasure to welcome you to San Francisco for your business stay, Daron, and we thank you for taking the time to share your honest review. We were pleased to know that our peerless address right in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf provided you with a perfect home base for your travels throughout the area. Yet even though our Sheraton Signature Sleep pillowtop mattress afforded you with all of the comforts of home, we were disappointed to learn of the various shortcomings that affected your overall impression of us. We know that our more traditionally-appointed accommodations may not fit every guest’s personal preference, but please know that we will be sharing your feedback with our Management Team to review. Also, as you noted, we are undergoing renovations to some of our public spaces, chiefly our dining area, where we look forward to unveiling our new full-service bar and restaurant in April 2019. Thus the next time your travels bring you to the Bay Area, whether for business or leisure, we truly hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with an all-around improved experience.

We visited this hotel during the period of a huge international conference, with the city of San Francisco drawn in black suits rushing from the one meeting to the other. The location of this hotel was an oasis; while very close to the city centre, out of downtown's frenzy

Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions regarding your recent visit to our hotel. We were delighted to learn that you enjoyed our premier location right along the picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf, taking comfort in our spacious accommodations after a day of travel around our amazing city. We do regret your overall impression of our dining area, as it was quite disappointing to read of your subpar experiences. We apologize as we are currently going through a refurbishment of this public space, with a new full-service bar and restaurant slated to be unveiled in April 2019. We appreciate your understanding, and hope that the impact was minimal on your overall San Francisco getaway. Should your travels find you back in the Bay Area, we would love nothing more than to have the chance to welcome you back through our doors to further impress.

Are there any compulsory costs per night at this hotel?
Room rates yes, there are taxes, I don’t recall any others, sorry. But the actual booking site for the Sheraton tells you and if not they are so helpful when you ring.

If you like to walk 15-20mins sure, I took a cab, but walked back as I had time. Hope that helps!

A local taxi will cost approximately $55.00. Drive time from the airport, to this hotel, will be anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a decent place for breakfast at a reasonable price, near the hotel.
I highly recommend Eight AM for Breakfast, which is about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. See my review for more info.
