Great location in San Fran with access to many attractions and amenities. The old building is beautiful. Front desk staff pushed us through to keep things moving and do not care if you have status with Marriott and no effort to make a good first...More
We stayed here for 4 nights in August whilst visiting San Francisco.
We booked a one bedroom suite, which was as expected.
The staff were nice and friendly. We ordered breakfast to the room and the food was really nice, the pancakes in particular!
Have stayed here many times over the years on business. The hotel itself was always beautiful but my rooms generally had no view. Our room this time on a personal trip was large and beautiful, overlooking Stockton Street. The check-in staff was very friendly and...More

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands,
tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
