While this motel offers basic accommodations, the fact that it is 1 block from the Wharf and has free parking makes this a huge plus. However you are paying for those 2 luxuries, because the rooms are average, with no air conditioning, no refrigerator and...More
Steps away from fisherman's wharf, this place had large rooms, comfy beds and a view of course tower and the city. It's a bit noisy, but I think you'd need to expect that in this location. Very nice, helpful staff. Room a bit dated but...More
Check in was seamless, staff great. Property literally steps from any of the major attractions at the water front. Property is getting a bit tired, most evident in the bathrooms, but they were clean and beds were great. No a/c but was not missed as...More

There is enough room to sit out there. There is a smaller balcony off the dining area...not sure if there was seating already out there, but you could definitely bring chairs out. The other balcony was off the living room and was larger, and there is a table and chairs out there.

Hello, yes the fisherman's wharf is very safe and getting back to the hotel from union square is easy and safe. There is a really good place for breakfast just a block and a half from the hotel called hollywood cafe. There are many restaurants within walking distance from the inn for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can definitely hang out at the pier in the evening and early morning even if the shops are closed. Regarding hot water, yes.
