The hotel provides very straightforward accommodations near the entrance to the Presidio on Lombard Street. The room was clean and had a king-sized bed, refrigerator, safe, and a tiny bathroom with shower. The staff were very nice and helped to identify a tasty Chinese food restaurant that would deliver after an exhausting day of walking around the Presidio, Golden Gate...

We checked in late and stayed for one night. We wanted an affordable place for a family of 4 and free parking not far from downtown SFO. This was exactly the right place for us. Front desk staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had dinner at the Pizzeria next door and the breakfast was plenty for us. Good...

We needed an affordable room for one nite and found it at the Travelodge Presidiio. When we arrived our choice of rooms were availabe on ground floor or third floor. We chose ground floor , near stairs. Room was small but had a comfortable King bed, dresser drawers, tv, and safe. In room coffe maker was sufficient to get us...

We stayed in a family room with 2 dreamy Queen beds at the Presidio in April 2017. It was the perfect base and location for our 2 day, whistle stop tour of San Francisco before going on our Hawaiian Island Cruise. Nicky the Receptionist made us feel right at home from the start and couldn't do enough for us to...

Nice clean comfortable hotel. The only frustrating part is that if you came back after dark there wasn't a place to park in their lot. Getting street parking wasn't too difficult though. The Concierge is awesome.

The Travel Lodge at the Presidio is a sweet little hotel nestled on the edge of the Presidio. The rooms are a tad bit small but they are clean and it is very quiet at night. One of the best perks of this hotel....free parking in their parking so you can leave your car and walk or bus anywhere in...

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
